youtube.com/watch?v=hcSkq3inhA4I really like this video. It's really deep, and really inspiring to me. I know it's old, but I just saw it and it's really cool. You know what happened to her? Within one day, it was posted all over the internet full of people insulting the girl. People were posting really crude pictures they photoshopped of her. People hacked her myspace and got all her information and prank called her cell phone and even threatened to kill her, and planned the day they would come and slit her throat. The girl is 15. She ended up deleting all her videos and making a "Goodbye" video on another account that basically said, "Okay, guys. You win. I changed my number, I'm off the internet. I should've gotten more information before I posted that. I thought I was going to speak out and inspire people, but I guess it was just the other way around. So, you win. I'm out." This girl reminds me a lot of me. And she's really good at talking stuff out and inspiring people. I am going to be like her, so watch out. Your thoughts?

She makes strong points. =/ But the profanity in here is /really/ unneeded. -.- You don't need to be dropping the f-bomb all over the place to reach out to people. O.o;
She's a really good speaker, and her reasoning is right on the point. People threatening other people for something as lame as a "label" is downright low, and to be frank, I'm /really/ getting sick of it. Who cares? Honestly. The way someone else lives their life is NONE of your business, so who do you think you are imposing on them and telling them what's wrong and what's right. In my perspective, we were all given one life to live, and there /is/ no right way to live. There /is/ no wrong way to live.
If you want to listen to rap? Fine. You shop at Hot Topic? That's alright, too. You love the color pink? Great! I don't mind! It's not affecting me, so who am I to go up on my high horse and tell you it's stupid or wrong?
I can honestly say I'm a bit disappointed with the world today and with the life of a teenager. There's just so much hate in the world and so many bad people it's sickening. There's never anything positive in the news anymore, and people who try to make a stand get beat down all because they want to make a difference. That's just messed up. I give this girl props for sticking herself out there when she runs the risk of being so hated. Even still, though, if you were to succeed at making a difference, the outcome would be most rewarding.
Thanks for sharing.
