Elliot walked down the bridge, nervously stepping, on guard for a broken plank, "You see that grayish thing up ahead? err, what do you think it is?"

"Maybe some sort of monster?" he suggested. They were getting closer to it at a steady pace.

Darius saw the minotaur twitch, and that was it. He lept ontto the great monter and grabbed his horns for control as the beast sahsed back and forth in the air to catch Darius, Darius just smiled. He held on for dear life until the moment would come when the monster would stop, even for a split second, so he could use his weight to swing and break the minotaur's neck.

The minotaur roared and thrashed, trying to shake off its attacker. It looked around for a good rock or tree to scrape it off.

Darius smiled as he saw the moment. The minotaur stopped to look, a fatal mistake on it's part. Darius reared then swung on one of the minotaur's horns, turning the creatures head completely backwards, a bone might have cracked in that process. Dozens of bones more likely. Darius heard it's last breath and he commenced the cleaning. It was mere luck he was by a stream. He grabbed his bow and strapped it to his back, then he drew one of his blades and started cleanly cutting the belly skin from the tip of it's jaw to hide. Darius then pulled the hide apart, being delicate, and remove the insides. The intestine, groin, stomach, appendix, gall bladder, liver, lungs, heart, nerve endings, cerebellum, brain stem, and finally the brain itself. Quite small. No surprise. He then tossed the organs into the stream so they could wash away downriver, maybe to a lucky bear or wolf. He grabbed hold of the rib cage and in one mighty pull it broke open, and Darius pulled out the bones, which then he also threw into the stream. He took off his cape then and rolled up the giant hide of the minotaur in it. He looked back toward the swamp triumphantly, then walked there and out of the dark forest, taking a detour when he saw the Forest Guardian again. Off to the my dorm. Heheheh. Took long enough.

Elliot walked faster, the gray thing growing bigger and bigger. The unknown mystery, was it a foe? or was it a glittering wall of a new type of mineral? Then he realized what it was. "Water?!" Elliot stared at it, "It can't be! What's holding it up?"
The dry canyon, full of fire and rocks, had suddenly turned into a vast ocean. Yet it didn't gradually begin, like normal bodies of water. There was just a giant wall of water, leading on until the end of the bridge. Large shadows of beasts were illuminated through the water by the sun. Evidently this magical body of liquid was popular among the Leviathans. Several skeletons lay by the side of the water, their origins unknown. Elliot pointed to the bones, "Where do you think they came from?" As if to answer his question, a large fish sprang out of the water, but as it went back in, it's tail fell out of the water. As if it was getting sucked out, it was pulled from its home and onto the deathly hot rocks as it began to slowly die. Disgusted Elliot looked to Darishan, "Shouldn't we kill it or something? It shouldn't have to die in such a painful way."

"It will still be dead in a few minutes," Darishan shrugged. "And by then it won't care how it died."

Elliot shrugged, and continued walking down the planks. Yes, in a very cliché way several planks /did/ fall down, but it seemed that it was only for show, as when he looked back, the planks were once again in their original spots. Looking at the now-viewable land, he spoke to Darishan, "We're almost there. I see smoke above the trees, do you think someone lives there?"

"We'll find out soon," Darishan said, walking closer the whole time. The secret was right in front of them, very close.

Taking the final step off the bridge, Elliot was greeted with a splash of water from behind. Growling and shaking the liquid off, he peered ahead.
The woods ahead looked like an exact replica of the Dark Forest, yet with light streaming through the trees as if wasn't the evening.
Elliot looked back at Darishan, "So we should assume this is the Light Forest? You know, there was a rumor about it. Something about half the Island rebelling against Twilight Moon. They ran off into the Dark Forest. They wanted to create a place opposite of the TMA area- then the page ended. It looked like the page was ripped out. Someone reaaally doesn't want students to know about this place."
--------------------------------------------------------------
Within the shadows of the trees, gleaming eyes peered out at the two from beneath the leafy shrubbery. Glints of weapons flicked from hand to hand as a large, toothy grin appeared.

"So we came here to see a forest of light? If it was really so dangerous or special, you'd think there'd be something more..." he said, looking around. "But it just seems like a mirror."

Elliot shrugged, then uneasily looked into the forest, "I feel like we're being watched. Do you think there are stronger enemies in there or something?" --------------------------- The grin vanished. The daggers appeared again, three in each hand, all blazing with a faint black fire. -------------------------- Elliot yanked out his pole in such a hurry it nearly fell to the ground. He held it in the air as two whips shot out from each end, one blazing with blue fire, the other black. He glared at the woods, searchind desperately, "There! I felt magic. Powerful one, too. Get ready for anything."

"Anything is already ready for us," he said, drawing his Dragon Fang out with a steely sound. He kept a sharp eye out, also feeling for any dead in the area. They were scarce, apparently most people had not made it this far.

The eyes blinked. When they opened once more, it was noticable that they had changed from a dark blue to a pure red, gleaming in the faint light. ------------------------------------------------- Elliot took a step foreward, closer to the woods, "This seems like a bad idea now."

"We can't turn back now... unless you enjoy being stabbed in the back while you run," Darishan said softly. He waited for the enemy to come at them.
