Just Another Chapter In The Book Of Defeat

[Pendragon]

Pen spun back to weird elf boy quickly. "Who the hell are you? And what the hell do you think your doing telling me what to do?" He yelled, obviously enraged. The last few days had been insane, and the last thing Pen wanted was some randomer ordering him around. "I don't need your help, and I don't want it!"

[Señor Sunday Friday]

"Haha! Well then, Orodreth is what I go by- but my title would have to be teacher." laughed the elf with a snide smile as he looked from student to student. It wasn't an uncommon mistake for him to be seen as a student and certainly he was never taken seriously as a teacher but he was what he was and he certainly earned the right to educate the students in one way or another. It could be noticed slightly that upon saying his name he had winced slightly, the muscles along his spine tightened angrily though with care he kept it from becoming too terribly noticeable, the biggest sign of the pain from his name was his ears which lowered slightly.

(I love having characters who control the movement of thier ears, it's another outlet for showing emotion! I luff it!)

[Pendragon]

Pen didn't pick up on the wince, the amazing display of perception from the day before seemed to have gone with the sun rise. "Orodreth." He repeated, not knowing it would probably make the elf wince again. His anger was lessened by the gain of knowledge, and he nodded to the elf. "What do you teach?" Pen asked. He was in need of some kind of help, although he wouldn't admit it, or go looking for it.

Orodreth did in fact wince again at the mentioning of his name, a flat glare edging in the sides of his eyes as he looked towards Pendragon, "Master Class, Naka, I believe her name to be." He said with a slight nod, he scratched the back of his head lightly, of course the term 'Master Teacher' was given to the teachers who were able to help students come into the full bloom of thier abilities, his face was somewhat a bearer of a derisive, melancholy kind of feel, mostly dominated by an aloof nature resembling that of a feline.

(All my characters nod alot, don't they? I guess I just don't like my characters talking with thier heads still- there has to be some kind of animation there! ^_^)

"TEACHER? Shit..." Duemi thought, her face turning red. "I was going to fry a teacher... Crap... This can't be good. Hope he doesn't take it personally... Or remember it." Duemi now looked uncomfortable, and embarrassed. Threatening teachers probably was not a good thing to be doing. Duemi's eyes where locked on the ground, concentrating on it like it was the most interesting thing in the world.

((Duemi cusses a lot at this sort of thing now doesn't she? *pats Duemi on head*))

Orodreth chuckled slightly at Duemi's response, though it was somewhat a sour chuckle, to be honest not everyone even thought Orodreth should even be a teacher so this wasn't exactly something he enjoyed happening but it didn't matter all too much. "Meh, it doesn't matter much." He said looking towards Duemi, "You get used to it..." He said with a shrug, though to be honest sometimes he wished teachers were a tad bit more mature at times and stop pestering him. He looked then towards Pendragon, then back to Duemi with a smirk "Problems of the heart?" He asked, just an itching feeling told him to be right and that was all he needed for conformation.

[Kim-la]

"Not puite my heart but I can't say your to far off. Its more like my head. I'm here to get my mind off it and to blow off a little steam" Duemi said, and smirk appering as she gestured to the dead bodies. "I think its working. But there is still someone I want to kill. Don't think that wanting to kill someone is healthy though. Hm.. Too bad for me."

[Pendragon]

Pen allowed Duemi to answer the questions in his place, prefering to keep his secrets just the way he liked them. Secret.

"You are a teacher. No matter what anybody says. It's a job, not a list of genetic traits you happen to have." Pen said, though without his usual charisma. It wasn't the normal from the heart, suffer no fools advice one would usually recieve from Pen. This was just autopilot stuff, lacking that charismatic fire of a spirit Pen had.

"Haha, but we're not here to talk about my problems- you seem to be mighty troubled indeed." Orodreth said in a slightly matter-of-fact sort of way, tilting his head to the side and wagged his forefinger in his face. Truth was that nobody was here to talk about thier problems but Orodreth's were the usual sort of thing- these two had truly unusual problems since one of love or feelings could be the most taxing and never really last all too long. His eyes shimmered with knowing, he had learned and aquired a large wealth of knowlege in his life- no matter how short for an elf his lifetime was. Speaking of short- he actually wasn't that tall once you thought about it, maybe five foot three?

[Pendragon]

"My problems." Pendragon said coldly, losing patience with the elf. "Stay that way." He finished, meaning they were his, and his alone. "This ain't no therapy session." Pen raised his voice, and his arms. "And I'm no psycho!" He really was quite close to the his edge, his breaking point. For somebody so chilled out, Pen was awfully hot right now. "If you're looking for problems you can solve, go check into a mental institute. The people there might be more to your taste..." Venom came through in his voice, he hadn't meant to be so cruel. He was doing alot of things he didn't mean to do...

"Well now we know that you seem to have problems facing your problems... denial." Orodreth laughed, not even taking heed to the words which were spoken against him, "Neither did I say you were psycho." He added, he leaned against the tree and began suppressing his laughter. If Pendragon was trying to be intimidating then it was obviously failing.

[Kim-la]

Though Pendragon had claimed not to be psycho, it was the first thought Duemi had. Duemi decided not to have another 'recap what just happened' moment and kept her mouth shut, though her face showed what she would have said. If people don't want to talk about their issues, there's no point in trying to pry it out of them.

[Pendragon]

"My life is not an open book to be read by any who wish to do so." He replied. "And it is not a story of cliche where the ending can be guessed." Pen's eyes locked with Orodreth, daring him to keep trying. "Place your bet, but the odds say that 'Guess my problem' can't be won."

"Well okay then, someone's got moodswing issues today- now don't they?" Orodreth commented, raising his hands to his chest in a slightly defensive manner, obviously overexaggerating for the hell of it. "You have more problems than Shade..." he muttered under his breath as he looked up into the tree, "Speak of the devil, how's Shade been lately?" He asked some being up in the tree that was hidden from sight.

The two imps that always seemed to be around when Shade was present dropped down and plopped on Orodreth's head, gawd they seemed to be everywhere! "He's been fine though he senses that something bad is going to happen next Flare class..." the angelic one said happily, it's smile though was generally innocent though.

"Yeah, it's got him really worried." the demonic one added.
