((Bring it on!!))
The skin of the creature wasn't broken but it collapsed to the ground nonetheless, the sound of breaking bones sounded from the impact and the creature whom had been hit by the sword and it moved away from the center of the group, wounded and most likely going to die sooner or later. The hunting knife was thrown at one of the duplicates of the larger, blue feathered one and it simply slipped through it's form, the real one was somewhere lost in the masses, in fact, they began multiplying themselves with the illusions so only one fourth of the creatures were actually real.
A tiger creature watched from the bushes, watching silently with a hunter's gaze, it's amber eyes calm and focused as it looked at the little creatures that were so focused on the attacking the three students, they didn't notice the threats that had gathered around.
Meanwhile you kinda just had to ask yourself- where the hell is this kid, anyways?

((Thanks for stealing my Mexican joke Pat, Sorry for the late response I was at the movies.))
The acidic goo flying at Estrik seemed to be a poison (like all acids are) so he stuck his forearm up to block the acid, and sure enough, things seemed to go great. He charged the beasts, whipping out his staff and then swinging it berserker-like at the leader, unaware and uncaring about the illusions, after all, illusions don't have consciences.
After his onslaught of attacks, he jumped back, sensing all the other animals gathered around him. He rubbed his hands together and assumed a side stance, and then summoned the biggest pickle storm he could muster, knowing that most animals rely on instincts, and hopefully they would take the pickles, and get blasted back, thus getting pounded against trees, shrubs, and the like. Pickles came down on the creatures, crashing down through treetops, creating breaches of light on the forest floor. The pickles came down even more violently than they ever had before, but they seemed to have an eye of the storm around Angelus, Crow, and Estrik.
A bead of sweat rolled down Estrik's face; he knew he couldn't hold this forever, another couple of minutes at the most. With all the energy he was exerting, his hood was blasted off revealing those evil eyes. Creatures with the intelligence of a barstool would easily fall for them, and hopefully back off. Maybe they wouldn't die a horrible death and have their corpses eaten by rabid monsters; that's optimistic thinking for you.

((okay...I have to catch up with posting))
Angelus continued his attack on the creatures, until they began to shoot their acid. He quickly waved his hand in front of his body, creating an air barrier in front of his body. Much of the acid that would have hit Angelus directly deflected back at the creatures. Some of the acid glanced Angelus' cloak and feet.
He quickly turned on his heals and began to dart away from the creatures and back in the direction of Estrik and Crow. He jumped quickly sideways into the forest. There he was able to gather himself, catch his breath, and prepare for their next attack.

Crow needed a way to take these things down fast - It's like swatting flies eh Pro? - Crow remembered his words from the battle with Naut'sinder Village. The Natives could do damage, but they weren't very strong, but they came in such great number, it was almost impossible. They Needed a way to kill these things in mass quantities. He raised a hand, and one levitated to eye level with him, struggling. He pulled his staff off his back and made a home-run swing directly for the creature. Crow hit, and felt the satisfaction of breaking bones once more. He jumped back, and sent a telepathy message to Estrik.
Follow My Lead
Crow Sheathed his sword and put his staff back on his back, and raised both hands, and several creatures rose into the air. "Angelus, your staff! Now!" Crow yelled holding them in place.
(( Liz, I hope you don't mind but since there are so many, I didn't want you to have to post every time we attacked one. We still wont be able to powerplay the leaders, but for the small ones that you didn't go into detail with, is what I'm doing ok? ))

Angelus had finally caught his breath as he sat under the trees. He was sure Crow and Estrik were talking telepathically, which annoyed him very much. Once he heard Crow's calls, he charged out of the forest.
Angelus held his staff his staff with both hands close together on one side of his staff. He was holding it similar to Crow was. He ran into the crowd of creatures Crow had levitated. He began to hack and swing with his staff. Feeling his blades make contact with the creatures sent a great sense through Angelus' body.
When his arms began to become tired, Angelus resorted to jabbing his blades into the creature's chest. He hoped he maybe would stab them in the heart, but with these creatures, their heart could be in a different location.

(I see everyone ignored the huge downpour of pickles that would knock all the creatures back at least ten feet...)
Estrik gave one huge, final push of energy that sent more pickles down than stars in the sky, finishing the spell. "Crow, use the Kiwi Orb!" he yelled to Crow, readying his Melding Orb for a copy of the orb, that would summon Kiwi's to aid them. As he was waiting, he picked up a rock and thought, It couldn't hurt to try, he thought. He quickly hurled the rock at the real leader, ignoring the illusions. He followed it up by telekinetically picking up another rock and then picking another up himself, and hurled them both at the leader again. "Maybe their like many species, they can't fight without their leader! Aim for him!" he yelled, hoping it would work.

The creature that Angelus tried to stab at didn't deal any heavy damage from the blade, it was more like an agitating poke and it bit at the weapon angrily. His tail lashed back and forth, whipping about.
The little creatures running about took no notice of the pickles, much preffering meat instead, thier beady eyes looking around at the baseball semblance of carnage and they fought harder now, biting at the students' ankles in order to inject the acid into thier boodstreams, they'd be able to drink the liquified students when the poison was finished.
The tiger walked from it's hiding place, it's hide white as clouds and smoke dusted from it's massive paws, the small creatures ran from where it tread the ground. It's eyes were like sapphire that gleamed as it looked at the students, it quickly dipped it's head down and snatched a lizard creature from the ground, the tiger looked at the walking buffet at it's feet, actually... if one stopped to notice- they'd see that the tiger was somewhat clear, it was in fact the spirit of a deceased tiger, still hunting the Dark Forest after it's death.

Immediately after being bit on the ankle, Estrik cut himself where the bite was, and forced the blood out buy sucking on it, then spitting it out, hopefully getting the poison out from his body. His mind was in a full state of anxiousness now, he thought there would be no way out of this hell they were trapped in, and left him hating Satonaro's brat grandson for getting lost in here in the first place.
Before he attacked again, this time by way of staff, he turned towards the ghostly tiger; his vacant eyes seemed to see the tiger and it's beauty, he actually saw it, not just the regular blue with red-outlined shapes he saw regularly, but he actually saw the snow white furred tiger. He calmly approached it and stuck out his hand in front of him, seeing if the tiger would sniff, or bite.

Angelus' mind was going crazy with all the creatures that were multiplying around him. Everytime he attacked a monster, two more seemed to take its place. Out of the corner of his eye, Angelus saw Estrik attempt to attack the leader. Angelus turned and shot a concentrated blast of air at the leader.
He then turned his attack on the illusions, ignoring Estrik moving towards the tiger.

Estrik's muscles had relaxed a considerable amount more; his right hand was outstretched towards the phantom tiger, and his left was pointed back at Angelus and Crow, motioning them to stay where they were. "We don't want to scare or provoke it until we know if it's friendly or not," Estrik calmly said in a semi-whisper, with the lizards gathered away from the beast.

The tiger sniffed at Estrik's hand, looking at it silently before licking it, there were a few moments of contemplation and it went back to snatching up a lizard that ran past it's feet, deciding that it didn't feel like attempting to eat the humans. It was odd, it felt the need to hunt in order to feed itself but was generally indifferent from before it fed to after it fed, in all truth the tiger had been shot, painless kill from a shot to the head and it's spirit hadn't quite figured it out yet.
The leader was hit by the blast of air and screeched terribly, before making it's way away from Angelus, the blue fading from it's feathers. Another illusion. The creatures swarmed all about the group, but thier numbers were dropping, however steadily.

Angelus began to slowly step back from the numerous creatures that were surrounding him. He was in a battle-stance and was prepared to attack a moment's notice. However, the creatures were disappearing after the illusion of their leader was attacked.
His muscles began to relax and Angelus was able to breath again. He let out a long sigh and began to walk towards Estrik and the tiger. He continued to hold his staff out in front of him, just in case.

Estrik gently put his hand on top of the tiger's head and began to pet it. Seeing if this was a special kind of tiger, he started to speak telepathically with it. So, do you have a name? he began, not even noticing the lizards, but still somehow inhumanly focused on the tiger, with his hand touching the fur, and it felt very lush, almost as if it took a shower with designer shampoo every day. It didn't seem harmful, at least no towards them, the lizards were a different story, Estrik saw it as a white tiger picking up blue blobs with its mouth. Maybe it could help us find the kid, he thought to himself, as he waited to see if the tiger would respond.

The tiger growled at the hand that touched it, mouth curled up to reveal it's sharp teeth and it glared up at Estrik a few moments before it attempted to tear apart the vile human flesh that touched it's hide. It' tail lashed back and forth furiously, and it's ears were flattened angrily. No words responded to Estrik, it was just an ordinary tiger... only dead.
The small creatures scattered as the tiger lashed out at Estrik, though they quickly returned and it almost seemed with a sense of vengeance as they climbed on top of each other towards the group, greedily attempting to get the first bite in. They snarled and bit at the air, acid dripped from thier mouths, something had happened that seemed to anger them.

Angelus turned away from the tiger when he heard scurrying behind him. He thought that the creatures had gone by now because they seemed to be timid when he last saw them. Angelus gripped his staff at both ends and began to unscrew it. After several seconds, he now held two short swords in both hands.
"Crow. Estrik. Get ready. Forget about the tiger. These things look angry."
