Teleportation
The Basics and Why
Teleportation is mid level wind magic. An object is teleported by moving into other plains of worlds for short periods of time then going back into the home world in a different place. This works because parallel worlds do not have the same time and demission as our own. A day there could only be minute here. This is also why it is wind magic. Wind is what governs the passage between worlds. The caster opens a hole into the world with the magic to go to it and teleport. Teleportation has two major rules.
Rule 1-Power Needed
As with all magic, this can only be done if the user has the energy to do the work by hand without energy. Because of this, it will always be easier to teleport small objects compared to large ones. To teleport an object you need to take into consideration...the size of the object, the distance traveled, and a the extra strength to open a hole between worlds.
Rule 2-Knowing Where You are Going
Another major rule of Teleportation is knowing where you are going. To teleport you need a firm image of where you are going. If teleportation is tried without this very bad things will happen. Either the magic will fail and nothing will happen or you will go somewhere else that you didn’t want to go into. There have also been known cases are mages becoming stuck in the alternate worlds they entered cause they did not have a firm enough picture of where they were going.
