Thief
Thieves are well known for their enhanced stealthiness as well as a love for taking risks to own objects they desire. With the passive Stealth ability, a Thief can often sneak around undetected, as well as steal from others.
ABILITIES
- By default, thieves gain the Stealth ability.
Stealth
A Thief can generally steal anything they want or see. If it's successfully stolen or not is up to the surrounding area and the person or place one is stealing from. With this ability, theives are able to steal any item from any student, NPC, or shop (with the exception of Special/Quest/Event items).

Duration: 3 posts (1 for theft, 2 for victim's reaction, 3 for successful theft)

Maximum: 1000 SP or 1 item per person
Penalty: 500 SP if caught & cannot steal from the same person for the duration of the roleplay
How it works
Within your post, you MUST write that you are taking the item or SP in some way or form. Generally you want to be as unsuspecting as possible, but still specific on what item/quantity of SP you're taking and from whom.
If the victim notices that his or her item/SP has been stolen, the steal has failed and the theif cannot steal from the person in that Roleplay again. If they do not notice (post once without showing awareness of the theft) they have lost the item.
If a fellow person within the roleplay (this excludes people who join the RP after the steal is made) notices the steal BEFORE the victim posts they may post so, and the theft will fail and the theif may not steal from the victim in that roleplay again.
- At level 10, Thieves are granted access to special Class-based skills found in the Magic Shop.
- At level 25, Stealth becomes Divine Stealth
Divine Stealth
# of uses per RP: unlimited
Duration: 3 posts (1 for theft, 2 for victim's reaction, 3 for successful theft)
Recharge time: None
Maximum: 2000 SP and 2 items per person
Penalty: 1000 SP if caught
While stealing from a victim, only the VICTIM can be aware of the theft. Surrounding characters MAY NOT notice the theft in any way or form, or warn the victim of the theft.
A note must be posted in the roleplayer's first post that only the victim may respond to a theft.
- At level 40, Divine Stealth becomes Twilight Stealth
Twilight Stealth
# of uses per RP: unlimited
Duration: unlimited
Recharge time: None
With Twilight Stealth, the Thief may shift into a form of shadow or mist. During this time, the Thief may NOT attack or be attacked, but can perform support magic and steal.
Special: Shadowcloak
Once per turn, a Thief is able to turn the entire party into shadows, hiding them from opponents completely. In addition, each person may attack while cloaked once, but must revert to a visible form for his or her second attack. This includes offensive magic.
WEAPON
Thieves generally wield light, swift weapons for stealthy attacks or kills. While holding a heavy weapon such as a sword, the chances of being caught while stealing is increased by nearly 150%, so thieves do not keep heavy weapons with them.
Theives can wield daggers and throwing weapons.
ARMOUR
Similarly to weapons, thieves wear very light, though often normal clothes. If they wear heavy armour, sounds will notify the opponent that they are being stolen from.
Thieves can wear light armour.
MAGIC
Thieves use their own speed and wit to escape predicaments, only using their weapons to cause physical harm.
Theives can use only supportive magics.
COMMON RACES
Being a thief requires a quick, small body to remain unseen and unheard. Most theif classes are thus found among small races.
Thieves are most common in halfling and similar "smaller" races. Humans come close in second.
