Priest/Priestess
ABILITIES
A Priest begins his training under a single God or Goddess. What type of God that is depends on the preference of the Priest himself. Once he has chosen his God or Goddess, he gains special benefits which he can use. The available Gods and Goddesses are as follows:
- Valryn – Goddess of Light
If chosen, a priest’s Vanquish ability becomes Wind-elemental.

Symbol: Pegasus
A pegasus is a winged horse that fights with powerful magical ability and speed.- Asanto – God of Serenity
If chosen, a priest’s Vanquish ability becomes Water-elemental.
Aura Color: Blue
Weapon: Staff
Symbol: Leviathan
A Leviathan is a serpent of both land and sea. It hold incredible strength and defense.- Sundris – God of Justice
If chosen, a priest’s Vanquish ability becomes Lightning-elemental.
Aura Color: Gray
Weapon: Sword OR Staff
Symbol: Griffon
A Griffon is a creature that is half lion and half eagle. It fights with its strength and accuracy.- Myira – Goddess of Trickery
If chosen, a priest’s Vanquish ability becomes Fire-elemental.
Aura Color: Red
Weapon: Sword
Symbol: Nine-Tailed Fox
The Nine-Tailed Fox is a beast that often tricks opponents in various ways. It fights using it's magic (also known as Kitsune-Bi, "fox-fire" ), and its speed.- Verin – God of Shadow
If chosen, a priest’s Vanquish ability becomes Earth-elemental.

Symbol: Chimera
A Chimera is a terrible creature that is part Goat, part Lion, and part Serpent. It fights with pure strength and magic.
- By default, Priests gain the Vanquish ability.

How it works
During a roleplay, a Priest is able to use their Holy energy in the form of magic. Generally, Priests aligned under Valryn or Asanto prefer to heal, those under Myira and Verin prefer to fight, and those under Waer are evenly balanced.
* Regardless of alignment, all priests are stronger than normal against Angels and Demons.
- At level 10, Priests are granted access to special Class-based skills found in the Magic Shop.
- At level 25, Vanquish becomes Divine Vanquish
Divine Vanquish
# of uses per RP: unlimited
Duration: 5 posts
Recharge time: 5 posts
In addition to using the previous Vanquish ability, Priests can now summon their God's symbol for use in a roleplay.
- At level 40, Divine Vanquish becomes Twilight Vanquish
Twilight Vanquish
# of uses per RP: unlimited
Duration: 5 posts
With Twilight Vanquish, twice per roleplay, Vanquish is able to change elements to Light (if under Valryn or Asanto), Shadow (if under Verin or Myira), or both: One time Light, one time Shadow (if under Waer)
Special:DIVINE WORSHIP Once per roleplay, the Priest can take the form and abilities of their God or Goddess. While in their Divine Form, the Priest is equipped with the God's Holy Weapon, wears armor of the God's Aura Color, and gains control over that God's element.

WEAPON
Most Priests generally wield whatever weapon their god wields. Their weapon is usually the color of their god's, as well. .
All Priests can wield staves, but under certain gods/goddesses they may wield swords or a bow and arrows.
ARMOUR
Priests usually wear loose robes, but never armour. Armour blocks their magic abilities, just as robes assist them. Their robes are usually the Aura Color of their God's.
Priests can wear robes.
MAGIC
Since nearly all Priests and Priestesses are trained in using white magic, they are extremely efficient in healing. Occasionally a Priest follows a darker God/Goddess and trains in Black Magic as well, but can never learn holy magic in return.
Priests under Valryn and Asanto can learn Advanced White Magic.
Priests under Myira and Verin can learn Advanced Black Magic.
Priests under Waer can learn Intermediate Black and White Magic.
COMMON RACES
Since Priests usually require only an affinity for holy power and white magics, they can be found throughout most races. They are most common in Elvish and divine races due to their strong connection with holy beings and magic.
