Darius's voice echoed int he room like one-thousand minds as he spoke.
"They will not get away from me." A quite tone registered.
He turned toward the windows and his great black dragon wings flapped and the entire wall section burst outwards, falling all the way down to the ground. He looked to Makashi and nodded. Darius moved toward the cleared away wall and braced himself as his left leg went backward and thrusted, his body propelling at an inhuman speed into the air as his wings flapped once and stabilized his body.
Becoming shadow-folk was a bad idea. I am linked the every person living on this earth...I am the one who puts them to rest. Darius pondered as he twisted in the air, a current building up around him. The current swished all around him in a corkscrew fashion as fire from his arms trailed behind him, twisting in the wind current. The fire lit up the sky like a holy lantern in the devil's darkness, grey light flourishing over the land. Darius stopped in mid-air a the firr engulfed his body. He would do this the easy way. He then plunged down at a ludicrous speed and landed as he stood up quickly and thrust his arms out. Grey fire exploded from his body and went in all directions possible, incinerating everything in its path...nothing could escape in an one-mile radius. Animals and vegetation burned quickly as if they were pine needles in a short stack, grass was replaced by barren wasteland, and dirt lay crystalized into glass.
You had better not be out here, Akira... Darius thought to himself as fire poured form his body.
Darius started rasing his arms as the fire grew in proportion, the ground around his body then cracked open and traveled in veins to the end of his blaze. Darius continued raising his arms till they were straight up, and the ground itself started rumbling violently. Great, giant fountains of grey fire spurted up from the cracks and traveled to what seemed an endless distance upwards. Darius himself was engulfed in the blaze, bis body all gon save for his eyes which were outlines in the fire. His mouth moved as you could see form the fire parting.
"OBLIVION'S GRASP!" He yelled as the ground around him burst open and grey fire poured out like a tsunami, the fire traveled in a perfect circle as it opened outwards to cover about a mile. The fire still flowed as he endured the amount of power he was pumping out of his body.
From the fortress window where Makashi and the others were, a giant light lit up the sky and a giant fire rose toward the heavens. It looked as if oblivion had risen from the depths.

"Darius!" Makashi yelled towards the Drow, his eyes narrowed as he brought water down from the heavens which began to put out the flames, believe it or not. "We're trying to save her, not kill her." He said with a growl. The rain began to fall in a torrent, the clear sky above continued to release a torrent of water to stop the flames from thier destruction. In doing something so rutheless he was killing innocents and that would make them all not much better than Aroroth. His tail flicked with irritation as his eyes looked towards the guiding light which continued to go after Akira whom was obviously outside the radius of a mile but still, he didn't want to risk killing her. The noises grew louder in the distance though, they were a series of vulpine yips and barks which were followed by a horrid screaming noise. The noise was heard on frigid nights when a kit was lost and they were always filled with fear and anguish though this one was unearthly in it's tone and chilled the blood. The worry on Makashi's dragon face grew and he began to follow the light at full speed, not worrying about the remaining flames and forgetting about Lorien as his long body began to twist in flight like a flag in the wind.

Darius didn't laugh, flinch, smile, or greet the rain. Darius simply kept going. The grey fire grew even larger as it started spread, Darius pumping out all power he had available, and borrowing power form the Underworld as well. THere was one flaw when he brought Makashi back form the dead, Darius could bring him back to the Underworld. Makashi would forever have a string attached to him, an invisible string, that would bind him there. Darius couldn't overpass that, it is power beyond him. The fire was so big, the rain had no effect. THe rain simply formed itself into steam that rose into the sky, forever lost.
Makashi, you have no power when compared with what I can do to you with a simple tug. There is nothing here anyway, it was all completely wiped out...I saw to it. Darius mind-messaged Makashi.
Darius lowered his arms as all the fire subsided in an instant, and as quickly as that lantern was lit...it went out. Dagon'juri pulsed with immense power as Darius lifted into the air again and flew beside Makashi, he had smiled toward Jouta. Darius' sword on his back provided a lantern more than his arms, it glowed fiercely. Finding shadows shall be easy with so much light.

Jouta tentatively walked out onto the air, and despite the fact that he was walking he was able to do so on plain air. The furry ears atop his head swiveled around and picked up the noise from below and he shook his fox/dragon head and looked towards Tehara who sat upon his back.
Tehara was frightened by the long drop so her hands clung tightly to Jouta's neck though Jouta barely seemed to notice. Jouta then began to run through the air, his lithe creature body silent in its' movements and he had to utalize a full run in order to keep up with the others but he was okay with that. His turquoise eyes glistened as he looked around, liquid fox fire formed at his ankled and splashed where his feet landed as the rain died away from the skies above and the horrid screams continued below. Finally came a shout from a man- whom we could all only quess who it was, and then a sharp yelp of pain. The fox noises ceased from below and there was only silence now, except for the noises the group was making but it was all quite frightening to have such silence now.

Darius drew Dagon'juri as the power pulsed down his arm from the sword. Instantaneously, he burst into flames. The power from the sword was triggering another transformation of Darius. He dropped from the sky as he landed on the ground with a loud thud and light from the heavens shot down at him as he was engulfed and smothered in the pure light.
A yell of power came from the light as the erath shook from the sound, the light baring into his body. Darius stood in the lihgt, all his muscles straining as light burst straight from his eyes. His wings shaped from Dragon wings to grey, spiking wings of fire that seemed to wreath from nothingness. Dagon'juri burst apart as eight swords formed from the one sword, all equally as big as their father sword. THe eight swords all locked at their pommels as they were attached to Darius' back. The black lines along his body turn bright white and lihgt flooded from them, the lines were now direct portals to the Nexus, so If someone touched them once they would be automatically transported there.
Darius' hair grew longer in proportion to his swords as it floated in the air, his eyes grew more angles andhis muscles tightened as his bdoy did, now a slim frame. The eight swords, their name in whole being Niram'hiru, glowed in proportion with their owner's eyes. The light faded form the heavens as a lantern of itself stood below, Darius' power not even being full yet either.
Darius looked up at Makashi as his eyes pierced the Ryu-ji's soul..and without moving, Darius was there in the air, his wings flapping, by Makashi almost instantly. Fire reinged down below his flaps, trees burning for a short period, then going out. Darius' voice had changed as well. His voice was nobler, less maniacal, and his voice contained a power that resonated across the land. This was the form of Darius, the Warrior of Retribution. Niram'hiru glowed softly in the air as Darius flew beside Makashi. Darius had also almost forgotten why he had drawn his sword in the first place. Darius looked down toward Jouta and was there, towering over the boy as he looked forward. His eyes piercing the tree's themselves and bypassing them as he immediately located Akira and Aroroth. Darius raised his hand forward and a immediate burst of energy cleared away a path toward the two. Darius scooted Jouta forward to move, he would not make the boy move. Touching him would mean he would be gone forever, so he simply poked him with his toe.
"Go and find your mother." The noble voice commanded, the air around the two quivering from Darius' power.

Aroroth dissapeared and he wouldn't be seen again for thousands of years, but Akira remained laying on the ground with her head turned away from the others and her chest rising and falling in a rapid rythm. The left side of her face was bright red from being hit and she let out soft, pitiful whimpering noises as she lay there, not making any attempt to stand up or even move. Her arms were out to her side and her legs were spread apart as if Akira was making a snow angel and probably oddest of all was that her dress was torn in the back, from the hole where her neck went through to the hem. Her pale legs lay limply on the ground and the light blue veins could be barely made out through the skin since they were normally covered with the pants she usually wore under her usual attire. Though it wasn't visable to the others, tears were streaming down her face as she lay there as if unable to get up- which she was. The entire time she tried to bury her face in her shoulder to hide it from the others, she was scared now, scared of what had just happened, and scared of what the others would think of it.
Jouta didn't go towards Akira, the instinct of a child. When his mother cried he became nervous, his senses going on alert because something had to be wrong though he didn't know what. His tail swayed back and forth as he stood on the air and he looked up towards Makashi, not really sure what to do.
Makashi had already headed towards Akira, shifting into human form and letting Lorien fall to the ground or whatever. He walked accross the ground in a swift movement and the dark red hair tousled in the wind that seemed to build up around him as he walked, his purple eyes flashing as he kneeled down next to Akira. "Akira..." He said softly, though the kitsune didn't respond. Instead she tried even harder to hide herself from Makashi, "Akira, please." He said as he reached over and ever so tenderly he put his hand on Akira's chin and turned her head so she's look back at him. "Whatever he did to you, it doesn't matter. I'm here now, and you know I still love you." He said in almost a whisper to the kitsune.
Akira wished so badly to reach up and touch Makashi's face, the face that she hadn't seen for hundreds of years but her arms were unresponsive and she pulled her head away when she fealt Makashi's gaze upon her.
(Poor Lorien... at this rate by the time Zeewee gets on Akira will already be dead and Lorien will be stuck wondering where the hell his mind was this time!)

Solstice looked up at Reggetar, "Okay then... we're officially left behind..." she said in an annoyed tone as she let her twin black cat tails sway behind her and she looked towards the others who were already outside and had found Akira, "I think we should try to catch up... that might be a good idea..." She said as she scrambled up onto Zephyr's back.

Darius was by Makashi and Akira's side immediately, going past Jouta withoutthe boy knowing. He knew what Akira was hiding.
"Makashi...move her head from her shoulder so you may see." Darius commanded, that air still quivering from his echo.
Darius, the tall figure of himself, took a knee tot he ground as he looked upon Akira, going past her skin, her clothes, and looking straight into her soul. The blaze she had was dwindling. Darius stood as he removed Niram'hiru from his back sheathed and his telekinesis floated it in the air. He raised his hand to it as it started spinner rapidly, the blades spinning in a circle while the blades themselves revolved.
Darius' eyes flashed in bright white lihgt as the blade suddenly stopped spinning and a portal of pure white grew instantly from the center, out to the tips of the blades. The portal created a vortex that started sucking in trees at its side, and a powerful suction formed behind Darius' body. It was not Akira's time just yet, not just yet. There was still a decision to be made as well. He did not know if he could remove a biological curse.

Akira revealed the skin on her shoulder, there was no curse mark though the muscle that had been in her arms and legs was gone now. Tears still formed on the side of her face, a spell had been used to destroy the muscle, Aroroth still wanted them to be covered in perfect skin, the curse mark had spread though, it covered her heart and was tearing it to peices and the pain was unbearable. She didn't know what Darius was doing but she had a feeling that it wouldn't be good and as she struggled to breathe she looked up towards Makashi with her pained turquoise eyes.
Makashi lifted Akira's head and torso as he leaned foreward to gently kiss her lips. A kiss so overdue, so late but yet still so full of love. Akira struggled to gather enough strength from the rest of her body as she kissed Makashi back, the two unkowing as to what Darius was doing at the moment.
Jouta and Tehara just watched, utterly confused as to what was going on and Jouta wanted to leave because it was all getting kinda mushy and stuff. Though whatever it was that Darius was doing was interesting to him since everything Darius seemed to do was destructive which was honestly really cool.

((This is what I get for going to eat dinner and doing my homework…))
Reggetar, once again, was left behind. One could argue that he just wasn’t moving fast enough, but this clearly wasn’t what HE thought. Zephyr tucked in her wings and began to plummet (like last time) and Reggetar hoped Solstice was holding on. He landed not to far from the group, seeing once again the Darius was looking different. These last few days seemed quite eventful… He saw that they had found Akira… But he wasn’t sure if that was a good or bad thing…

Darius could see Akira's inner flame extinguishing, and looked at them both.
"Akira...it is time. Makashi, you may go with her if you wish." Darius consented as the air rumbled from his voice.
"Akira And Makashi, if you wish, I will raise Jouta unless Makashi decides to stay. But for the time being, all of you say your goodbyes to one another. Akira will die in roughly three minutes...though, I could prolong her life." Darius let on lastly in the sentence. "It's a difficult process, but Akira could cheat death...once and only once. I will not do it again. It is up to you however, Makashi, whether her wounds heal or not." Darius said as the portal to the Nexus behind him sucked in random trees and ripped grass from the earth.

"I... can't move." So utterly shocked was Lorien, that he merely stood there motionless, his eyes almost painfully wide and his blond hair drifting limply in the soft breeze. "Don't be so weak," Mind said, for once coming to his aid. "Get the hell over there and help her." Feeling a light push, Lorien scrambled into a run immediately, stopping next to her near Makashi.
"She's dying," he said softly, seeing the life fading from her in a slow implosive fashion. "Makashi, I might be able to save her if I try right now." Lorien never lied. It was a bad thing to do. However, failing to mention that healing a widespread wound such as that would almost certainly kill him or weaken him to the point that he wouldn't live much longer afterwards was probably the closest he had ever come to being dishonest. It had to be done though; Akira had so much more to live for...

Akira didn't want to make such a decision, and Makashi didn't feel like it was his to make. Akira knew that when she died then the curse mark on all the others would be lifted, she ceased her kissing of her love and she looked over towards Tehara and then the other cursed ones appeared, Skiit stepped foreward. "Don't let her die." He said to Lorien and Darius, his eyes held an urgency.
"No..." Akira said in a sullen tone as she looked up at Makashi, "I can't stay here... the curse mark is hurting others too. Darius, to be honest... you're not the one I'd want to entrust Jouta's safety to." She looked up towards Skiit, "I'll trust my son with Skiit." she said, honestly it sounded like she was insane at the moment.
Skiit let a wicked smile cross his face as he stood there, with him responsible for training Jouta he could shape and mold the abilities of the child in order to make sure there would be no more obstacles needed to be worried about in the rest of his lifetime.
Makashi nodded, "Darius. We've made our descision then." He said as he looked towards the Drow. His eyes carried all the seriousness that could be imagined that anyone could ever muster.
Jouta fealt like yelling at that moment, "Sure! Leave me here again!" but he decided against it, and now instead of being left with kind people it was going to be Skiit- the insane guy.
"Skiit, please watch over Jouta with your life." Makashi said to Skiit who didn't seem to pay attention.

Darius kept an eye on Skiit.
"If you abuse him any more than I would, I will come and claim your head." Darius advised as he looked back to Makashi and Akira. THe portal behind Darius suddenly burst as it turned a dull grey. Trees stopped sucking in, as did everything else.
"Then bring her into the Nexus, Makashi." Darius said as he moved out of the way for him and Akira. Darius then brought his attention to everyone else.
"If you truly wish, I will clear your memories so that you will not remember this day. If you do not wish it, you will travel by my side. I cannot let news get out that I am the Reaper. I cannot take your word. Be advised that when you're travelling with me, you will be put under rigorous training every single day that will test your life. I will understand if you choose the first option. There is NO third option." Darius explained, then looked back to Makashi. For the first time in this situation, Darius chuckled a bit. A friendly chuckle.
"I will see you two soon enough, I will make regular visits." Darius winked.
Makashi, when you enter the Nexus, Akira's curse mark will be removed. Remember, you are still alive. The thread that keeps you alive I will hold...and I can bring Akira back to life. She will not have that curse any longer. Tell this to Akira when you cross over, you know how to contact me with an answer. Darius sent Makashi.
Darius stepped fully aside and bowed to them both, his fiery wings subsiding into ashes. Noble eyes beset his face as he watched the two make their way.

Lorien watched them solemnly, crushingly sorrowful at Makashi and Akira's death, however temporary or lasting it might be. He was also happy for them though. Akira's eyes were in pain, but they were complete with him. He smiled tearfully, a fitting compromise. Looking at Darius, he considered his options. Darius was a fine friend, but also an utterly destructive one, he had to admit, with rather explosive bursts of anger that had negative effects on the surrounding areas. While he would love to accompany his friend, every day might be a bit much for his sense of seeing people dying... more than he could take mentally.
Forgetting this day, however... His memory was ever horrible, but he felt he could never forget the events that led to here. It would be unthinkable, and as painful as they were, even more loathsome was it to think of dispelling them.
"Please Darius," he started, his tone humble and soft. "I implore you to reconsider. I swear on my life and honor and all things I hold dear that I would never reveal your secrets to anyone, if you would let me leave."
