(I just REALLY wanted to RP as Akira so you guys could get to know the REAL Akira, not my pessimistic, weird, power hungry OOC Akira. So here it goes! MEEP!!) A woman sat on a thick tree branch, her body shrouded with a close fitting cloak, her right knee pulled up under her chin and the hood of said cloak shrouding her face from everyone else. Her left foot dangled down beneath her to reveal the soft looking pale skin that covered it. She yawned under the cloak's shadow, the cloak itself was covered in specks of mud and plumes of dust- the wearer had obviously traveled alot, in fact she was still traveling. She had come here all the way from her homeland Nippon and she was glad to find solace. Her mind buzzed with thoughts about her past and the present. She looked down towards the forest floor and sighed, so long she had been alone and it was starting to get dull. She was wanting to talk to someone now but she understood that others might not accept her due to the fact her face could be seen in every town from here back to Nippon- and then some. She had been tearing down the posters for what seemed an eternity, she knew what they read: '!!WANTED!! AKIRAMERU IJIRASHI HITOTSU for high treason, murder, theft, and kidnapping. REWARD 600,000,000 GOLD! WARNING- VERY DANGEROUS' She frowned, she would never escape her past and she knew it. A path ran underneath her perch in the tree and she heard people travelling 'pon it. She had fought so many battles and killed so many in order to survive in this world as long as she had- but she was beginning to question whether or not it was all worth it. She had lost her true love and banished from her family so now she was left with the sad mark of her kind- cut off from the main family branch, she was now a Genkokitsune, or Black fox. She had lost the lively, beautiful golden ears and tails so now they were black as the raven's feathers. She stopped amid her thoughts and the woman chuckled and she looked down the path at the people approaching and she smirked. "Someone's finally decided to come this way." She said- she had obviously been in the tree for quite a while, and considering her past, it might not be for some good reason.

The sound of one clearing his throat cut through Akira's thoughts directly below her. A tall man with an air of secrecy stood there, a ragged traveler's cloak clasped at his neck, with a plain attire beneath, though there were a few rips here and there. His dark hair hung long and lank on his head, falling into his bright blue eyes. Though almost everything about his appearance seemed almost casual, normal, he was far from it. The man flashed a grin at Akira, showing sharp canines, "Akira Hitotsu, am I right? You may call me Lykaios if you wish."

((Well well well. Back to the Old Light.))
A cloak of darkest night billowed around on the ground as a walking...or floating figure moved forward at an inhuman pace. Dark energes swirled ferociously around the cloak, and a dull glow of black emerged from a grand sword with a skull on its hilt. White eyes look from beyond the cloak's grace of hood and flowers tilted from the sun. This was Darius, the murderer of a race, the killer of his own family, the terminator of his drow House, the outlaw of everything the filthy humans loved. The cover blew down from a passing breeze and white hair flowed like a rushing stream from the hood, and dark skin emerged like blight upon a wasteland. Like he was there, he vanished. Talking was ahead and he was careful, careful of his cover, his invisibility, his title. The Grey Prince. Like a shadow he cover the treetops, stalking closer to the two talking...one he knew of from past experiences and he would surprise nearly to death later, and another he debated on whether to kill or not. The "kill" part sounding good at the moment...the other "letting him live" was on the gap to plausible.
His fair eyes watched on, carefully taking in detail of the situtation like he had always done. Though, he knew in the back of his mind that Akira would have already sensed him, those that knew him could sense him from a mile away...those that didn't were already dead, and therefore not taken accounted for. His cloak fell as Darkfire emerged in his back sheath, and the cloak hung on the branch he stalked from, looking simply like a shadow of moving leaves from the wind. The winds picked up as Darius took that noise to swallow his movement as Darkfire was unsheathed, the dark energies swelling around the area. If Akira didn't want this man dead, she would mind signal Darius now, otherwise there would be a glorious brunch...

There was a clinking sound of metal on metal down the path aways, that of armor. What a set of armor it was! The main color was a pearl gray with a tint of indigo, such as the color of the sky just before rain. At regular places along the ankles, knees, elbows, and breastplate was a second layer pieces of dark blue metal overlapping the first layer with a few jagged spikes extending from one edge on each part. Covering his face and features was a helmet masterfully smelted and embossed in the semblance of a solemn dragon's head, with two holes in the glaring eyes for vision. Sturdy leather straps slightly hindered his dark blue traveling cape to hold steady a six-foot metal lance in the same style as his armor, it's tinted steel sharp and gleaming.
The knight did not see the two ahead, and he wasn't taking any particular pains to be quiet. In fact, he was just enjoying the mildly pleasant weather and stretching his legs.

((Well, Liz, you might remember this.))
Darius heard then saw another coming...a knight.
God damn all these beings, and god damn knights. Their religious gusto sickens me. Darius thougth to himself as he took another gust of wind to sheath Darkfire. He had decided to take another form of surveillence. He balanced himself on the branch as his form shifted slowly, Dakrfire being absorbed within his body as a larger than normal black panther perched on the limb. White, feral eyes accenting the white underbelly. Jet black body fur cascaded in the air as the panther leaped suddenly, sailing through the air above the other man and landing next to Akira. The panther about faced and gave Akira a smug look of "pet me or I'll eat your knee".
Long time, no kill, Akira. Talking is simply a waste of time in this era, I know you agree. I have your back if any of thse men are bounty hunters, I'm worth more than you in their market, hell, if they take my tail off, they could buy a castle and make their own feudal country. If they brandish their weapons, leave it to me, you've done your share of killing...I've been following you. Darius chimed in her mind.

"Thanks alot." Akira whispered sardonically to Darius as she rolled her eyes, if she was being followed by him then where was he all those times before? Her turquoise eyes glimmered as she looked at the newcomers below, none of them particularly important though she'd have to eliminate them sooner or later. She didn't bother with Darius because she knew fighting him was a lost cause when Darius was your opponent. She frowned only but slightly as she looked at the glove that covered her hand with an angry glare, her ears flickered atop her head. "Yes, I'm Akira. Why is it that you wish to seek me out? Or was it some odd coincedence that our paths meet like so many before have claimed?" She looked down at Lykaios with her turquoise gaze.

Dikan appeared from nowhere. He resembled Angelus in many ways, but he was taller, and had blonde hair instead of black. He appeared and said nothing. He walked slowly over to Akira and another man, not knowing who he was.

And don't worry, the other one you killed then looked back and he was gone...I had dinner. Darius assured Akira as his paw went out and grabbed her hand almost humanlike and placed it upon his head, then started rubbing.
You don't want to lose your knee, do you? He looked at her innocently...as innocent as a homicidal maniac half-cannibal could be.
His white eyes scanned downwards as he snorted, looking down upon the man below. Unfortunately, he didn't indulge in junk food. The knight he wouldn't both with either, too much work to open the can. The panther started purring, Akira knew where to scratch...

Akira scratched the panther's head, not believing that she was degraded to scratch the head of one of the most wanted beings in the world, if not the most. She glared at Darius but didn't say anything as she simply continued scratching right above the ear, Akira let out a long yawn as she looked at Darius, her eyes showed boredom and a secret that seemed to want to explode from her vision into reality. Her right hand seemed to always attract some curse or another, this particular one made her wish she had less friends in her life then she had, but alas things that have passed have passed and she knew there was no going back.

Darius purred some more as his back leg started moving involuntarily.
Ohhhh yeeeaaahhhhh..... He thought to himself.
((A sad little post...))

A twist around a tree lined corner revealed the small party of people to the knight, who had not expected them. Bright, cheerful eyes the color of polished sapphire blinked as they looked at the group through the helmet's slit-like holes, and he walked up to everyone questioningly.
"Greetings, travelers," he said in an open, pleasant voice slightly marred by the hollow tinge that helmet. "My name is Lorien, Captain of the Kingdom's Dragon Division. It is a pleasure to meet all of you, though I admit that I have not seen your faces before." He surveyed them all casually, just to make sure, and was surprised to see a feral creature with a lady perched in a tree. Though the creature was surprising enough, it obviously was tame, for the lady stroked it with familiarity. The lady herself though... surely he had seen her face before? Yet, he could not recall.
"Excuse me, My Lady, but it seems I might know you even so," he said, sounding slightly puzzled. "Memory has ever been my flaw, plaguing me with the semblance of rudeness at unrecalled names and faces; though I implore you to remind me if we have met before," Lorien finished politely, bowing to her.

Lykaios grinned at Akira, nodding yet not responding. He raised an eye at the overgrown cat above, but decided not to waste his time with weak prey. Turning, he walked up to Lorien, "Lori you loser. Remember me?" He pulled a small crystal cup of coffee from within his cloak and held it up to the light so that the sunlight intensified the thousands of colors found on the cup.

The knight's blue eyes widened in surprise, and he laughed. "Lykaios! Forgive me for overlooking you, friend! How have you been faring?" Lorien once again mentally scolded his memory for abandoning him, but Memory, always an insolent part of his mind, paid no attention and continued to watch TV.

The werewolf shook his head and walked past Lorien, "Eh, its been good enough. I've bit a few people in the last couple years, and I kept one as my apprentice. I sent him off to some school a while ago. Haven't heard from him since. Let's take a walk, shall we?" He stepped onto the dirt path, worn by ages of travel, and began to stroll down the tree-lined road.

Akira stopped scratching behind Darius' ear, her face carried a bored expression, she wasn't much in the mood for scrathing a homicidal maniac and Darius was beginning to get on her nerves. She looked behind her with a quick glance, "There's a village nearby, isn't there?" she asked, the earth gave off slight vibrations in a heavy rythmn and she seemed to take special note of is as she sat there.
