Lorien laughed at Lykaios's joke about biting people and started after him down the path, humming a small tune. He broke off as the woman in tree spoke again, and the knight turned around to look back at her. "Yes, there is a fair sized village just down this road," he told her, gesturing down that beaten path. Then he continued to hum, following his friend.

Darius the panther just yawned and looked on.
A werewolf, weak, easily killed, and easily cooked. A knight, not worth the effort... He thoguht to himself as he yawned again.
"Akira, let's say we follow these two, eh?" Darius whispered through his panthine mouth. He got up and the tree shook a bit as he landed upon the ground, not making a sound. He turned and tilted his head back up to Akira.
"Also...I forgot to mention. Makashi has been quite well, as he always will be in the next world." Darius said to her caringly. He sat on his haunches and waited for Akira to get on the ground.

Akira nodded as she jumped down, she hid her emotions for Makashi since it would be silly to react to knowledge that a dead man is doing just fine. She then laughed slightly at the thought of how odd her life had become, she meets up with a giant, talking panther in a tree before going into a town with hostile forces about to storm in. Her turquoise eyes flickered at this knowledge, the damned curse mark that plagued her now kept her from telling others but if she could atleast hope that Darius was catching some of this because she knew never to underestimate him.
Her legs braced slightly as the ground gave off another shockwave and she looked towards the town, they were unaware and she was sure of it, and after the battle it would be her job to go in and slaughter any survivors which was honestly something she wasn't to happy to do. Then came the screams. Akira knew what was happening and her ears pricked foreward, the army was arriving, someone might find it almost impossible to believe that an entire army go undetected till right at the city gates well this one didn't- this was just a small town and therefor had no gates.

Darius's ears perked up as the pnather wasn't there any longer. THere stood Darius in all his might and glory, pure darkness cascading down Darkfire in its sling sheath, and his white eyes trained on the city. His virtuous mind came into play just then.
"Akira, we go to help. Attacking a small town in stealth has no honor, especially if that stealth involves an army and some lord who wants land. I may be a killer, but I do attain honor." Darius explained quickly as he narrowed his eyes at the small town. He unbuckled the sheath and Darkfire surged in black, horrifying energy as he held it in his hand, and black fire surged on the ground all around his feet. His hair raised slightly from the power emanating from his body, of pure hatred. He rushed forward at an incredible speed then stopped and turned back his head.
"AKIRA! COME ON!" He yelled in a demonic voice as the earth tremored from his jump into the village.

Akira looked towards Dain and nodded, she knew though that she wouldn't be able to assist him and instead it would be fairly hard for her to even be in the battle. She approached the battle tentatively and the attacking soldiers seemed reassured by her presense and Akira cursed them all under her breath as she saw the total slaughter, she knew Darius would be busy lowering the attacking army's numbers to a pretty low number but she shook her head, why would it matter anyways? This was all to start a war, and they certainly seemed to be doing a fairly good job at it too- unfortunately in this war sides could be forced. Knowledge brought to a mage who couldn't handle such knowledge and was soon corrupted by it. The mage betrayed his friends of which one of them had been Akira.
Akira gripped her gloved hand and the Ame appeared in it, it's deep red handle and shimmering black metal blade carried an odd aura to it that was highly uncharacteristic to it, it was an aura of death, darkness, pestilence, and all things horrible of that sort. A woman let out a scream as she ran from her house which was now on fire, Akira watched her flee the battle, the soldiers let her step aside, not having the mindset to kill her for she carried a small child in her arms, just a few weeks old.
Pain shot through her arm which moved outwards, her feet working against her and carried her to the woman, the weapon in her hand speared through both mother and child without hesitation, directly after the kill Akira was elsewhere continuing the slaughter.

Darius had just severed the heads of the kngihts on the front line when he looked toward Akira and sighed. He mvoed over there uncaringly and wrapped his arm around her neck, restraining her. He moved his mouth to her ear as he simply stuck out Darkfire and ran through a knight.
"What in hell's name are you doing. Kill the knights, nto the babies. Hell, I don't even kill babies." Darius said to her normally as he swung Darkfire and a large crescent of dakrness envelopped a crowd of knights, then disappeared, leaving skeletons in armor that fell limply to the ground. His arm muscles braced themselves around Akira's neck, bulging from the battle that was simply a one-sided slaughter...since Darius was there. He flicked Darkfire behind him again, rendering three knights cut in half from the waist as a dark bolt fo energy went through them.

Akira looked up at Darius, her eyes looked somewhat helpless as her arm twisted around, the weapon she held went for Darius with a point of skill and precision it was almost scary to watch. Such an attack was hard to explain was exactly so frightening about it, it's instant speed and previously noted precision was unnatural in it's completeness and Akira's foot sweeped underneath her to knock Darius to the ground with unhindered speed as her elbow moved to hit Darius where it hurt. In her mind she was yelling, 'Darius! I thought you could hear thoughts! Come on! I can't tell you, the freakin' curse mark on my hand is preventing it! Doubt me? Check it yourself!" her thoughts were filled with sarcastic undertones and a heavy sound of anger in it. Darius should figure SOMETHING was wrong since she suddenly started killing the helpless, which of course someone should figure she would never do. Besides, Akira wouldn't kill a child in a million years, it brought thoughts to her mind of her own child was well as the whole thing being completely heartless. Her right ear twitched slightly and Akira clenched her teeth tightly, a grimace on her face.

Darius had already turned to smoke and rose up from his position to be in front of Akira. Then he noticed the curse mark.
"If you let yourself be controlled by a simple thing such as that, you are weaker than I thought, and are the same as the one who put it upon you, AKIRA!" He yelled as all the kngihts stopped and looked as they back up from what they were doing. A group of kngihts was shaking in their boots as Darius' yelled was heard, a demonic voice of great and terrible power. His white eyes started misting black and Darius jumped high into the air as black mist trailed behind. His hair waved wildly in the air as Darkfire spun in his right hand. He had reached the climax of his jump as he looked down from the sky. He then turned into a dive downwards, clutching Darkfire to his chest as the point dived straight down.
"ELGHINN FALMA!" He yelled as the point hit the ground and it seemed as though time stopped. The ground tremored then looked as though it were moving, like a worm squirming trying to get free. The earth below the point of the blade shattered as did the surrounding earth as the wave went through it, a great fissure developing and a boom one could hear for miles on end.
His eyes burst into more mist as he finished with a yell.
"HITEN!" He finished as sound was no more, and a small dark wave formed at the blade point. Darius twisted Darkfire as the wave then burst into a giant tsunami of darkness all around him, enveloping everyone into eternal slumber as the skin was ripped off their bodies and organs were left inside the skeletons, still pumping as though alive. Darius had at the last second, bolted and grabbed onto Akira as the dakrness went around them.
He turned Akira to his face, his eyes still misting, and his white teeth pointed from using his demonic power.
"Are you finished now?! Can you speak about what has been done?" HE asked, his demonic voice still frightening. He bent down and picked a baby's heart from its skeleton, the heart still pumping. "This is what the result would be when you finished. Organs and bones. Strengthen your will and get past that mark, it CAN be done! Let this day be an example for you, Akira." Darius said without mercy.

Akira frowned as she looked at Darius, she half wondered if she would dare venture to call him a friend of sorts, her nine black tails swirled as she failed to even flinch, "You seem to think you understand so much more than you really do." she said as her arm began to clench every muscle, "Besides, you'd be incredibly naive to think that one who wished to start a war in every nation would bother to lead his own troops into battle. Magics that I feel not even you can compare to are at work here in these days of impending darkness." her tone was smooth and held an icy edge to it. Her eyes looked up at Darius, her fingers wrapped around the handle of her weapon and it flashed a blur of color, sending a message to Darius but it didn't come through clearly and would sound like a mumble in Dain's mind. It was odd for either of the weapons to try to contact someone other then a member of the bloodline which owned it- that being Akira since she was cut off from her family long ago.

The panther had materialized into a night-skinned elf, and he and the lady sprinted off towards the agonized howls of mercy that drifted from ahead. He gasped softly, one hand tugging his shimmering lance, reflecting the dappled light like a lake's surface, from the leather bindings. "Lykaios," he said, glancing back at him friend, nodding seriously with solemn, sincere eyes. Not much more needed to be said, as it was rather obvious. Lorien then flew off, his feet pattering on the ground with more agility then one would have thought possible considering his constricting armor. However, the battle was over.... He stood routed to the spot as the view of the carnage stabbed through his eyes, trying to comprehend it. After several long moments he took a slightly choking breath and shouldered his lance, inspecting the town for survivors with a sorrow-glazed gaze.
All the people were not merely dead... they were slaughtered sickeningly, resembling half-dressed animals from a hunt. Empty eye sockets and twitching entrails, the ground soaked to fullness with blood. Under the metal of his helm tears trickled down his cheeks unnoticed. Hearing movement, Lorien raised his head hopefully at a survivor or three, but he was just puzzled at the sight of the night-skinned elf and mysterious woman. Wordlessly he watched them, still numbed to the core by the sudden destruction of an innocent town.

From the bushes a little ways off there came a rustling noise as a child who seemed no older then perhaps eight or nine gathered up a few large sticks for a 'last effort'. His blood red hair was smeared with mud and grit, his face dirt from a day of play in the forest. Upon his return this is what he found of his town- his family was now dead. Though he didn't know that they weren't his real family they were instead watching him untill his real mother returned. This wouldn't matter to him though, he hated these people, as far as he was concerned they were on the side with the army that attacked. He noticed something on the ground and smirked, he wasn't going to attack with rocks and twigs- he was going to be 'prepared' his hand reached from the shadows and dragged a large claymore from the grasp of a skeleton, he held it in his hands, both which were foolishly placed towards the end of the handle. (Yes, I called it a handle... okay for those of you who can't stand it- his hands were nearly covering the pommel they were placed so badly and by this he unbalanced the heavy sword. -is that better?) He then darted from the forest, teeth clenched as he ran at Darius and Akira, nearly dragging the sword on the ground which hindered him from getting anywhere particularly fast.
Akira stopped and stared at the child, her hand gripped around the weapon in her hand as the curse mark made it's way up her wrist, she took a step towards the boy. The child looked from Darius to Akira in a quick glance before deciding he didn't want to attack the scary looking blue guy and went after Akira, his bright turquoise eyes mirrored Akiras and showed equaling doubt with the situation and he wondered if he should have stayed hidden.
The resemblance between the boy and Akira were plainly noticed, his jaw and nose were the same as Akira's and of course there were the eyes. Certainly the eyes would be noted by someone. (*cough*DARIUS!*cough*) As Akira's weapon headed for the child he didn't scream, yell, or make any noise whatsoever, he was still of course just a child so he was frightened beyond all belief at this moment and couldn't speak. He was very much positive this was a very bad idea. He braced himself for the blow from the scythe like weapon that Akira held in her hand and was slicing through the air towards him. Akira braced herself as well, she couldn't believe someone could be this low, using a curse mark to drive one against thier own will and then using them to where she was helpless to defend her own son. She hated this, she hated this very much indeed.
Before free speech was an option because the battle was over and the curse mark wasn't as oppressive but now there was still an attacker and the curse mark flared up again and to be perfectly honest Akira was half glad to see that her son had miraculously survived the massive attack which Darius had used and she hoped the same luck would befall her son now.
(Yeah... ummm... don't kill the kid... he's not only Akira's ONLY son (So she doesn't want to kill him either) but he's also Suzume's father... not good if he dies... so you might wanna keep AKira from slaughtering the poor widdle kid.
Akira: LIZ!! DON'T MAKE ME KILL HIM!!! OMG!! THAT'S LOW!!
Li-Wa: I know... I feel so evil.
Suzume: Risking my very existance by making it so that someone has to save my dad from being killed by my grandmother...
Li-Wa: YEP!
*Kid whom is nameless to this point because Liz never bothered naming him, is also Suzume's dad*:Oh yeah, you guys complain.... -_-
Suzume: ... erm... yeah... Hey Liz! I never noticed you didn't name him.
Li-Wa: Never got around to it, I guess now is a good time to name him though...
KWiNttPBLNBNH,iaSD: you think?
Akira: This is just weird... no more OOC, okay?
Li-Wa: Well you started it.
Akira: Shut up!
Li-Wa: Yes ma'am... *sits in corner alone*)

Darius disappeared for a split second as his elbow kissed the bridge of Akira's nose, and his other hand stood fast the claymore the child tried hard to swing. His hand glowed as he clenched and the claymore disenigrated. He crouched down and smiled.
"Now, now, young one. There will be no mroe fighting today, only honoring the dead." He explained as he snapped his fingers and the dead corpses rose and shot downwards, burying into the ground. Swords and shields lay down where the corpses were buried in a war-tribe fashion. Darius had soon stood up and looked at the knight.
"There are no survivors save that boy and that woman, squire. There is no point in looking further. I suggest you run back to your lord and tell him, otherwise he will meet an untimely death by my blade for his cowardice action." Darius explained dully.

The kid looked up at Darius and shrunk back, he wasn't used to elves, war, or magic for that matter and the concept of all this stuff just showing up was odd to him. He fell on the ground and he refused to cry, not in front of all these people. He sniffled a little bit and he looked at the ground, not sure really what to do now that everyone he knew was under the ground and dead. He looked up at the tall, threatening Drow and stood up again with clenched fists, but he didn't say anything.
Akira's hand shook as she dropped her weapon, her face showed an expression of shock as she looked towards Darius and the kid (who's name has not been revealed so I still have time to make one up... *procrastination*). She couldn't believe what could possibly be thought of her now that she had almost killed her own son, surely Darius would understand the nature of the curse. 'The mark of the six sacraments' one must be able to activate the seal of each sacriment in order to free themselves from the curse and of course such a secret has been lost for unnumerable centuries and one still exists who knows what the sacraments be and unfortunately it was the one whom had cursed Akira.

Darius chuckled a bit at the small child and patted the boy's head. HJe held a clenched fist inf ront of the boy then opened it, revealing a bright silver chain holding a pendant shaped as a scarab beetle of pure blue and yellow. He smiled as he opened one of the little boy's clenched fists and placed the amulet in it.
"This, my boy, is an amulet from ancient times that was placed on the neck of the greatest warrior and most courageous heroes. You don't need to be mad at me, you're alive, so be happy. Keep on being brave, young one, you'll go far, very far." Darius departed unto the young boy.
He then turned his head as he looked at Akira, and sighed. Then he pointed at the boy.
"Is this who I think it is? And is the father who I think it is?" He asked, smiling. THen he looked with discernity upon the curse mark Akira had, he brushed it with his finger.
"We will have to get rid of that, now won't we?" He suggested slyly.

The knight seemed to shiver inwardly, staring at the ground. Finally he looked at Darius and walked over to the trio, still partially spacing out.
"You are mistaken, Sir Elf, for I had left the duties of a squire many years ago and now answer only to my general in rank. However," Lorien continued, taking a deep, shuddering breath and speaking in a full voice near sobs, "there can be no mistake in the fact that it was his men that attempted to decimate this town today, and they are all have perished. Whether he participated in this battle, and whether he breathes or lies fallen I cannot know, but such a foul creature that would do such a thing commands loyalty from me no longer." His stricken eyes trailed to the young boy before lowering again to the ground.
"One survivor... out of all of these dead... and the dying will more likely than not continue on..." he whispered.
(Wee for emotional breakdown Lorien! ^^ Usually it takes five roleplays before anyone sees him even sad, but you guys are talented. XDDDDD)
