Well, I was bored, and I ended up studying my mini-profile for some odd reason. Then, I looked at my sig box and saw my final, which ignited an idea.
We have a level system to gauged people into specific groups of power, correct? A certain number of posts gets you level 20, a certain number of posts gets you level 6. Then I thought, finals can be used whenever the student is on the brink of disaster. Well, 'disaster' all depends on where the roleplayer gauges his character, in all truth.
So, I propose an idea. A system should be made similar to the level system where 1 post equals 1 PP. When the student gets 30 or 40 PP, the student may use their final. How's that for an idea? Though, with this, the forum would actually be more of a game than a roleplaying board.

I like most of the idea, but I don't exactly like the PP part. I like SP much more =P..But yeah it would help so we don't have a bunch of insane people using thier final like 3 times in a row..Not saying that anyone here does that, but just incase we got some maniac that did.. XD

lol The concept is sturdy, but I personally don't think this would work out very well for either the students or the teachers. It's too much to keep track of. And it's already a rule that a final is a one-time deal per role play, yis?

Yes, but from experience, it isn't exactly enforced. >.>
And Jackie, I didn't say we'd get rid of the SP system. The PP gauge would be located UNDER the SP number. -poke-

you mena like a Limit break bar from Final Fantasy 7? hmm that wuld be kinda cool that way you could only use it when if was full and not when every (unless your doing touch up training then i guess you have no choice but to use it XD) here is what i think he means: I vote AYE to the idea!

sure, it would be an interesting concept. However one thing that we would have to keep in mind is that HTML is nothing to actually sneeze at, and BBCode more so. Both of them can kick your butt if you don't know what you're doing with them, and it might take a little while of developing before this system takes flight, if it does at all. One thing to always remember is K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Silly If you bog everything down with bars and counters and such, sometimes it can detract from the simple pleasures of the site and such. Don't mean to burst the bubble, but just something to consider.

Yep, like what Zhao just put. I experimented with it on a test site I made and it looks nice. Though, as the Final Limit raises, the bar turns into a gradient. For instance, this site it could gof rom light blue to dark blue in gradient. The code is actually extremely simple.
