Mage
ABILITIES
- By default, Mages gain the Might ability.
Might
Mages dive deeply into lines of magic and learn everything they can about areas of harmful spells or healing. With these spells there is normally a lengthy incantation that must be chanted to create the desired effects. Sometimes though a mage can dive deep into their instincts and cast a spell on sheer will alone.
With the first level Might, Mages can cast one low level spell without saying the spell aloud.

How it works
During normal spell casting a mage must chant the spell during the beginning of their post and at the end the spell is cast. With this ability the mage can cast their spell right away and also react to things and do other activities after the spell is cast.
- At level 10, Mages are granted access to special Class-based skills found in the Magic Shop.
- At level 25, Might becomes Divine Might
Divine Might

Recharge time: 2 posts
Maximum: 1 medium level spell cast
Mages are now able to cast stronger spells from the second level of magic. With their new experiences they can now cast all lower level spells without saying them aloud. With Divine Might they are able to cast one medium level spell without saying it aloud.
- At level 40, Divine Might becomes Twilight Might
Twilight Might

Recharge time: 2 posts
Maximum: 1 higher level spell cast
With the Twilight Might, Mages can now cast one higher level spell without saying it aloud as well as casting and lower or medium level spells without saying them aloud.
Special: EXPANSIVE MINDOnce per role-play, the Mage can pull energy from the world around them. With this new found power they can cast any and all spells from pure will without saying them aloud. This also removes any energy costs since the mage does not use their own reserves but that of the world itself. This also remove all limits of their spell casting letting them cast spells they would normally not be able to cast. They can only do this for 5 posts since any longer would risk burning the conduits that carry the magic within the mage.
WEAPON
Mages normally try and stay out of melee range of their enemies. Because of this they do not carry offensive weapons often. They normally only carry staffs that help them channel their energy.
Mages can wield staves.
ARMOUR
To reduce the energy required to access the astral realm, Mages normally wear light weight robes or other flowing garments. Normally white or healing mages wear white robes while black or offensive mages wear black.
Mages can wear robes.
MAGIC
Mages have strong inbred pools of magical energy. With this they are able to cast spells. But, because it takes so much time and energy to learn one side, most mages choose one side of the magic line to follow. White mages focus on the healing and protective lines while Black mages focus on dealing as much damage to their enemies as possible.
White mages can learn all forms of white magic but not black magic.
Black mages can learn all forms of dark magic but not white magic.
COMMON RACES
Any race can be a mage though not every member of that race is able to. Normally children with gifted amounts of magical power are chosen to become mages.
