A lone figure was milling about in the main hall. Litterally milling about, walking in a frighteningly decisive manner without any purpose. It walked stiffly and made few unneccessary movements besides its random pattern of walking.
It stood about six feet tall and was thin and lanky,as if it should be much smaller but had been stretched out to fit its clothes. It had an untidy mop of greasy black hair that looked as if it hadn't been tended to in weeks. It wore a motley assortment of loose fitting clothes that appeared to have once belonged to a homeless shelter. Large ragged tears ran all across its clothing, and almost every edge was laid threadbare.
Its unnaturally pale skin reflected light back onto the floor around it and each firm foot step made very little noise despite the force of its gait. And to top off its image was the grim, solid white face mask that stood in for its visage.
It continued in its menacing, random walk without tire or alteration, shoulders set firmly in place, as if it would let nothing stop it from reaching its goal, even if it had none.

Shaille looked at the strange being walking around. He couldn't figure out what it was doing or why it was there, or even if there was a reason at all. He laughed a little at the strange thing and walked up behind it, completely out of sight. He duckwalked in its footsteps, facial expressions dominated by a large, somewhat crooked smile. He had dark brown curly hair that hung right below his ears, and his dark blue eyes seemed like they were naturally filled with light because they were so bright. His movements made absolutely no sound at all. Not even the minimal whisper that normally came from clothing.
Shaille was thoroughly enjoying himself as he goofed around behind the practically roboting being. His sharp teeth glinted as he held his mouth open in silent laughter. He wasn't sure what the person would do if he were to turn around, but he exactly worried about it either.

The thing continued its walk for quite some time before it suddenly came to an abrupt halt and the second figure crashed into it. It fell to the ground face first, not even attempting to halt its fall, it merely dropped. It stood slowly, but unlike any human, placing a foot firmly on the ground and then the rest of its body rose and stood straight.
After a few moments of doing seemingly nothing it turned around and faced the one who had knocked it over. After a few more moments it held its hand out, long, slender fingers outstretched.

Shaille watched as it fell. He could only think of it as an it because there was no way this thing was human. It was almost in slow motion, the fall, flashing before his eyes like a favorite movie scene being revisited. The thing hadn't even hit the ground, yet, before Shaille himself was there on the floor, writhing and laughing like a dumbstruck fool. His stomach cramped from the pain.
"Oh, you should have seen that,"he weezed, not really addressing the robot thing, but more speaking out loud to nothing in particular, probably just to hear his own voice. He looked up to see the thing's outreached hand in his face.
"What the--,"he began, but stopped. "You want to... shake hands or something?" Shaille looked at the hand somewhat skeptically. He wasn't really slow or anything, just easily entertained. He was extremely bright, actually. He lightly laid his hand ontop of the other person's fingers, careful in case it was a trap and he might need to jump back. He wasn't completely open to strangers. He had enough common sense to survive public situations.

As the man touched his hand V7 immediately launched into an overly complicated an drawn out hand shake it had obtained from a street vendor in New York, complete with hand bumps at all different positions and then finally a hug at the end.
It then spoke a single sentence, each word spoken in a different voice; some from men, some from women, each in a different accent, some whispers some almost yelling, "HOW are you doing TOday, good SIR?"

Shaille felt awkward as the guy attempted a long, drawn-out, overly complicated handshake. He felt even worse when the complete stranger hugged him at the end of it. He stood rigid like a board and turned a color that could be described as "a lovely shade of rouge". It could be worse, he thought. He could have kissed you. Then, the guy yelled in Shaille's sensitive feline ears.
"Aie!" His ears pressed themselves flat against his head as he cowered on the floor form the outburst. "Goodness," he spoke lightly under his breath in reaction to the loudbox in front of him. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. But what's your problem?" He was being sarcastic, but there was a slight ring of true curiousity to it. His dark calico ears lifted off of his head a ittle bit and his tail swished to the side, the deep browns, blacks, and rare red-hued areas blurred.

It stared for a few moments, apparently in thought. "I seem to HAVE misplaced my destination."
"NON-HUMAN CLASS 78: ANOMALY V7," it said in a female voice, the kind you would hear from a computer. It then began babbling in foreign languages, starting and stopping randomly. It then repeated its first question with a different set of voices, "How DO you do, GOOD sir?"

"Ahh!," Shaille said, "Yes, I am fine! I am oookay! Did you hear that?! I AM OKAY! Now, can you stop talking like that Mr. Nonhuman-animoty whatever the hell you are?" He didn't know what the thing was, but it was killing his ears.
A little ways down the hall, Azian rounded the corner. He didn't know what all the yelling was, but he intended to figure it out. He saw Shaille cowering on the floor and ran over to his younger brother.
"What the--?" He looked at the strange human standing over him. Shaille quickly got up and jumped suddenly, disappearing as though there was an invisible portal in midair that he had run into. Azian cursed him and turned to face the other.
"What the hell did you do to Shaille?"

"What do you mean?" It responded with a tilt of its head. "I merely responded in a manner consistent with your species." It was picking up speed in its response time, settling into the conversation awkwardly.
It stould completely still, waiting for a response, so still that it seemed to twitch even though it didn't.

Azian's bright green eyes flickered somewhat in confusion.
"What? Our species? You're not human? How on earth did I not see that?" He slapped a hand to his head somewhat dramatically. "Ha, that explains a lot. And I believe you frightened Shaille. Wait, I've got one..." He paused for a moment, a smile spreading across his face. "Alright, why ARE you here?!" He responded back about ten times more dramatic than V7 had even started out as. He was doing it because he was still mad about it scaring Shaille off, and when he got mad he became a bit of a douche. In fact, even though he was smiling, it was an extremely mocking smile and couldn't possibly be mistaken for anything else.
