This isn’t exactly a contest more like a way to help the site on one of its biggest updates and a way to earn SP to boot. As many of you might have caught from random C-box conversations, one of the new things coming with the new sig boxes and the new Skillbook is a spell shop.
I am opening up to all members the ability to submit spells to myself for SP via PMs. Here is the general going rate for any spells given:
General Black Magic/White Magic/Support Magic Spell: 5 SP
Class Specific Ability/Spell: 10 SP
You might receive more for this if we find the spell especially good. Also we will hold rewards for special categories.
Most Creative Spell (Black Magic): 100 SP
Most Creative Spell (White Magic): 100 SP
Most Creative Spell (Support Magic): 100SP
Most Creative Spell (Class Spells): 200 SP
Most Create Spell Period: 500SP
Most Wacky Spell: 500 SP
Most Random Spell: 500 SP
Just to give you an idea of what we already have. We have basic stuff already for black/white/support; we have basic elemental blasts and healing spells. But feel free to submit something if you think we didn’t think of it already. Also, for class spells, we don’t really want things that a person could do right off the bat, we are thinking more of slightly bigger transitions. For some this might be harder then others. And I will give some examples of Seer spells since I finished that area (will still accept more though).
Aura Reading
Level 20
Grants the seer the ability to see and interpret peoples auras*.
*Auras are the fields of light surrounding all people that show different things such as health and emotion
Psychic Claws
Level 40
Grants the seer to create claws of pure psychic energy on their hands that can only be seen by other psychic aligned people and effects the mind of the person struck only, making it harder for them to focus and make sound judgments
You see? This is the growth of the Seer starting with a strong mind already from entering another type of existence to see the future. Also, I want to state clearly that this system will not limit RP but help foster it. You will not be limited by any of these spells. You can still RP using your own made up spells without worrying about if they are in here. These are just to help make your character stronger as it goes up in levels as well as giving you something to fall back on during a case of writer’s block. Also, if you feel like your character has a past to get one of these abilities right away instead of waiting on it, talk to another staff member or myself. If you can show that your characters past supports it then we are all for it.
Lastly, here is the form to follow when filling out the spells. Some things may be tweaked with the acceptation of your spell.
