The Silverwing Blades
Every Faerie elemental is tuaght their soul strike, or the attack most powerful to them. With this attack, Maera swings both of her fans in a quick windmill type fashion, whistling several magic summons to help center the wind into a large, silver arc. After several fan rotations, she quickly swipes them both infront of her into the controlled wind arc, sending the giant blade into thousands of silver slivers that shoot out for 60 feet in all directions.
The downside to this attack is that, while devestating, it takes a while, about two turns, to windmill the wind and control it into the proper silverwind blade before attacking.

Two large, half-arm length windfans of black birch wood and yellow air silk, specifically crafted and named for Koomaera Windsorrell.
These fans enhance the wind elemental abilities of only Maera, allowing her to shape, move, summon, and change the air. If the fans are both opened to their full extent, they can be combined together to form a large, hourglass shaped flying fan. On this, Maera can fly and travel on with ease with one foot on each fan, riding and "surfing" on the wind and through the air.

These thin bands of blueish-gray metal encircle both ankles, allowing the wearer to move swiftly and unnoticed. While it is not a strict invisibility, it is more of a glamour to give the wearer a sort of social invisibility and something not worth notticing. Requires IMMENSE amounts of concentration to hold the glamour. If the wearer is bumped hard or if light falls on the anklets, the glamour is broken.

Air whistles
A set of panpipes of smooth appleblossom wood, carved with faint runes of enchantment and binding that seems to move and flow in the light.
These pipes, when awakened by a short,high whistle summon, can be used as a weapon when the bearer plays certain pipes in a pattern. This art is only know to those born into the sound or wind element. When played without the awakening, any song tends bring a tranquility and calmness to the listeners.
{Physical Description}
Like most faeries, no matter what realm, Maera is smaller than most humanoids, reaching only 5 foot. This height is balanced out by a slim, almost weak frame. But faeries, especially elementals, contain strength that is not visible in muscle mass. Steel colored eyes are framed by equally silver hair, cut as a short angle with the exception of shorter front bangs and some long sets of hair.
Maera has pale skin, a common occurence amongst wind elements, perfectly unmared except for spiral tattoo of barbed wire running from a curl around her neck, down her right shoulder, and coming to rest curled around the forefinger. This tattoo is given to all elemental faeries usually around the age of three or four when their elements begin to emerge, the barbed wire symbolizing a hold on their minds from completely slipping into becoming their element.
Maera's usual attire consists of a moonlight colored under-dress, over which she wears a gray air-silk kimono. The kimono is attuned to the air and wind around its wearer, adjusting to either keep in warmth or let in coolness. The sleeves and bottom of this grey air-silk dress is decorated with images of white lotus flowers and curls of white of graceful white lines, the backround behind them dusted with stars of white silver. Tied around her waist is a silver sash, tying into a bow in the back in the traditional style of a summer kimono. Also tied to either side of this sash are her wind-fans, Kienta and Seja, wearing them as a swordsman would his swords. For shoes, Maera only wears a pair of grey colored leather sandles, roman style and strapped tight.

Maera was born into the Faierie elemental race of the Third Realm, one of the many realms of Faerie underneath the enchanted hills of Ireland. Her mother, a plant elemental, died giving birth to Maera, so she ony grew up under the care of her Fire elemental father, no sisters or brothers to speak of. Since she reminded her father so much of her mother, he was always very protective over her, usually never allowing her to play with the other Faerie children for risk of their powers harming her. Beacause of this, Maera isn't very social with others and tends to shy away from groups or crowds.
Like most elemental faeries, she was just a normal faerie child until the age of five, when when her inner elemental power awakened and showed itself in the form of wind. A few days after this awakening, The ceremony of Air was performed for her, like all faerie born into the Wind. Both of her fans were made by her father (when usually fans weapons are made by both parents, one fan each) during this ceremony, and given to Maera. After the gifting of her her fans, Maera had o be given the barbed wire tattoo on her right arm from her neck to wrap around down to her forefinger. This tattoo contains the strongest of binding spells, needed by elementals to contain their sanity, or else they would immerse themselves completely with their element and dissapate completely. She was thus blessed by the Third Realm Council and returned home to begin her training. Elemental training for younger years takes them from the age they receive their powers until the age of thirteen, where they either stay in the Third Realm to perfect their powers or go out into the First Realm (mortal plane/human world) continue training elsewhere.
Choosing a life of travel over a life of seclusion, Maera traveled out into the world, wandering and training for almost a year before she heard a rumor of an "Academy" for special children. Using most of the money and trinkets she had on her, Maera was able to buy a "special" guide to lead her to the school, where she hoped to enroll to further her training and overall skills.
