{Weapon Information}
(Rope Darts)
A rope dart is simply a dart-shaped piece of metal upon which an incredibly thin strand of a rope is attached, as well as a flag to pull the attention from the dart, which is attached by one of the few rings hooked onto the dart head. This enables the person throwing the dart, (in this case, Aqua), to control the path of the dart and enables him to pull it back after he's thrown it. The flag also slows the dart down a bit, but makes it that much more controllable. The point is extremely sharp and is able to puncture skin easily. He can manipulate it with the string, changing directions and the like. The end of the rope is tied around his right wrist, enabling his left arm (his dominant) to control the direction better. Still, as he learns how to use it more and more, he will be able to use not only his arms, but his feet, knees, and other body parts to control the dart. This weapon takes a lot of control and coordination, so Aqua hasn't mastered it quite yet, but he's getting better. He carries several of these darts with him in one of the pouches on his person.

(Shaded Glasses (a.k.a Sunglasses))
There glasses are fairly big, with very shaded black glass to stop people from being able to see his eyes. They are not terribly delicate, but will shatter, as any glass would, under pressure. They have to long pieces of metal that hold the glasses in place. This metal is painted black, as to blend with the glasses. Also, there are little pads on the inside to protect his nose from the sorts of injuries that might come from wearing them. Since Aqua is blind, he feels fairly conscience about his weird eyes, even though they look like any vampires. These glasses were given to him a while back.
[These glasses cover his eyes with their dark glass. This does not hurt his vision in any way, as he has no vision. They can, in some ways, also look fairly cool, though that is not the reason he has them.]

{Physical Description}
The most prominent thing about his appearance is his short, white hair. Being an albino, his hair is silky and fine. It is strait, cut short with bangs covering his eyes slightly and a shorter cut in the back, exposing his neck. His eyes are slightly biggish, red ambers that seem to see through everything, though in reality, they see nothing. They are often not looking at whomever is speaking, so he usually wears tinted glass to block his eyes from view.

His eyelashes are long and white, framing his unseeing eyes. His eyebrows are fine, matching his hair with the white. He has a round nose and his mouth is not very full. It configures to his mood easily and will expose his sharp canines. His teeth are fairly strait and pretty white, as he keeps them clean. His chin is round, but firm.

His body is lanky and still growing a bit. He has long limbs and huge hands, the sign of growth-to-come. Aqua takes care of his body and keeps it healthy, for who knows how long he'll be using it. He is lean, but not incredibly muscled, except for in his legs, which are that way for speed. He is a fast runner because he works on his legs so much. He has small shoulders and a medium build. Aqua's hands are huge, though his fingers are long, delicate, and thin.

Most of his clothing is black or darker colors. While he doesn't actually know what his appearance is, the people around him (the ones who bought his clothing) had a taste for dark clothing, though he has an assortment of red silks as well. Whatever he wears, he likes his skin covered, because it is even more sensitive than a normal vampire's. If it were a bright full moon, he would be worried about burning then. Most of his clothing is silky or soft. As he has no sight to see wether he looks handsome or not, he likes to make sure he has outfits that feel good against the skin.

His boots are ankle high, black leather. They are very warm on cold days, yet cool on hot days because of their special build. The heels increase his height one or two inches. While he will soon outgrow them, he likes to wear them a lot, along with warm, comfortable, slightly-puffy, soft socks. He doesn't care if his socks look weird, he usually wears the fluffy, soft kind. Usually though, these socks don't manage to surface above his shoes, if they are even visible, being black.

His sun glasses are always at his side or on his face. He likes to wear them so people don't have to look at his eyes, though he would never admit it was for anyone. He wears a few pouches that are attacked to his belt hoops. These hold various things, such as his rope darts, sunglasses (when he's not wearing them), his sunglass case, some flint and steel for an emergency fire, and some other useful items his mother packed in there for him. Most of the items in there he cannot use because of his lack of hearing and sight, but she wasn't thinking about that when she packed them.

{Background}
Aqua was a disappointment to his father the minute he was born. It was obvious that he was different from the rest. He cried, of course, but his hair was white... pure white. This incensed his father, who left the minute he saw his son. This left Aqua's poor mother to name him, which she had never been very good at. Finally she settled on the name Gwaednerth Andras. Also, she gave Gwaednerth his father's surname, though the male vampire never was to appear for very long in the infants life. The poor woman really was no good at names.

Gwaednerth grew older slowly and it was quickly established that he was very different from other vampires. It was also obvious that he resented his name. He would never come when she called, until she was very desperate. Then, he would stumble to her, though he would be banged up. After some time, she realized something devastating about her young son; he was blind, which was obvious, but he was also deaf. He could not hear anything and could not see anything. It was a mystery, though, how he would eventually come to her after she was mentally anguished about finding her son, her only kin.

At the age of four, he grew even more strange. Many times, he would play with the water down by a river a ways from their house. He would make it move for short periods of time. This was odd, especially being a vampire; he could not cross the water he spilled and would have to wait for it to dry before moving. Still, he played with the water when he was bored. Soon, the people around his mother started to call him 'Aqua'. Though not liking it at first, slowly even his mother called him that inside her head.

Time passed and he began talking. It was odd how he knew how to do such a thing as talk, but finally it became obvious. He must have been telepathic. He always answered to calls when she thought about him and he never ran into people, though he always ran into objects. It would also explain his insistence that the 'water talked to him.' His mother watched him for a long time, supervising her young. He was growing quickly now, at the age of seven.

One day, he found his mother and told her, through the mind, that he would really like to learn something to protect himself. Thinking of his safety, she looked up a hand-to-hand instructor who also used some sorts of weapons. She finally found someone, named Allis. Allis took one look at the young vampire and recommended rope darts. With blunt ones at first, he could learn to control them through the feel of the strings, since his sense of touch was very acute. He would be able to feel the vibrations that signaled where the dart was in relationship with the rope attached. Young Aqua could not have been more excited. He learned quickly and well, so that by the time he was 14, he was good, though not an expert.

But there was the rest of his life as well. He was a growing boy and his needs were suiting his body. He kept needing more and more blood. He was learning to hunt with his mother. He was better at locating prey that no one would miss easily; the thieves and scub-bags of the allies. He could locate them by their thoughts and figure out what sort of person they were by the flavor of their thoughts. Of course, it took a while to learn how to discern people. He also had to go through many disgusting images that no eight year old should have ever seen. He learned to withhold himself slowly, only scratching the surface of the thoughts. It was not easy to learn. Sometimes it was even painful, for the sort of memories he found. Still, he persisted and learned.

When he was ten, old enough (at least his mother thought) to hunt for his own prey, she gave him some special glasses, the best present he had ever gotten. While he couldn't see them, she gave him a mental picture freely, showing him exactly what they were. Aqua loved them instantly and started to wear them. People stopped thinking rude thoughts about him when he put them on. Since he was no longer bombarded by nasty insults, he could think more clearly. This cheered him up quite a bit, though he didn't once show it. He focused instead on blocking the people from pushing their thoughts into his mind, though he did not have any success.

As his body slowly changed from young, cute boy to dangerous adult, his face slimmed, as well as the rest of his body. His joints were always hurting at the age of twelve and on into thirteen. His water powers were quickly going out of control, he needed to be taught by a real teacher. He also was starting to get headaches from all the minds pressing in on his, especially his mother, who was becoming more and more hysteric as the days passed. And there was always the problem of learning how to talk correctly. He had learned a bit, enough to communicate at first without using minds, but it wasn't really great. So his mother couched him, telling him how to pronounce things though the mind. He learned slowly, for the language was hard to learn. Soon though, he no longer sounded like a two year old speaking.

There was one more part of him that was growing dangerously. He woke up on the morn of his thirteenth birthday to find his mouth soaked with blood. While it tasted delicious, it scared him a bit. He went down to his mother, fingering his sharp fangs. They had more vicious points on them than he remembered. Upon asking his mother, he learned that this was normal, that his fangs were supposed to do that, though it would be wise to figure out how to manouevre his mouth with them in it.

Finally, Aqua was definitely growing, his body was aching with stretched out skin, muscles and other body parts, his voice was changing, and puberty could not have been coming onto him any quicker than it was. He was getting better and better at his darts. Allis had given him sharper and sharper darts to practice with. He was in a painful stage of his growth.

The summer of his fifteenth year, something unexpected happened... He got a letter, one saying that he was accepted into a school called Twilight Moon Academy. This was all read to him by his mother, including the date on which to be at the 'ghost shipyard' or whatever. He liked the name well enough and he wasn't doing terribly much with his life. Besides, his mother was pressuring him to go, as she had never really given him a formal education. So, after a bit of contemplation, he agreed to go among strangers and see what the people in his age range were like.
