Yuna impatiently waited while sitting; back against a rather large and moss covered rock, the mist making sure she doesn't get dry. Then Yuna annoyingly waited with her mouth in a pout while sitting at the edge of the rotting wood considered a boardwalk, and although the cold chilled Yuna to the bone, several beads of sweat made their way down her back and left behind trails of goosebumps that marched up and down like armies of Ninja. With a sigh, Yuna stood up and flinched as the wood underneath her shifted and moaned, giving her the disturbing feeling that it would give at any given moment. The thick fog that surrounded the young half vampire made difficult to see anything, even when squinting, she could barely make out the large forms of boats in the murky water. Finally sick and tired of the cold and fog, Yuna plopped down, twiddling with her kunai. "Chi-Oji-Sama said that if I stayed here and waited...someone would come and get me...Then again He is also the one who told me that if I leap off the side of a hill I'd turn into a bat and fly..." Yuna grumbled the last part, suddenly feeling slightly bitter. "I think I must be touched in the head to believe a vampire...this might be a little scheme of his!" She huffed angrily, then mentally slapped the very idea away. Yuna tugged at the end of her dress, hoping to cover the flesh exposed to the coldness, but the only thing she managed to was getting a tear at the seam. "This is stupid, badmouthing the very man who has done so much for me..." Yuna scolded herself. Flicking some hair out of her face, Yuna rolled her eyes. "And now I'm talking to myself too..." With another sigh, Yuna stabbed her kunai into the floor and waited...

A small, old man walked through the fog towards Yuna, he leaned heavily on his staff and was dressed in red robes, lined in gold fabric. His dull white hair was whispy and fading away with old age, his face was marked with old age as well, dark brown liver spots here and there, as well as on his hands. The poor guy looked like he might turn to dust any moment, though his green eyes were filled with life. His eyes almost made him seem youthful to be honest and he slowly made his way towards the vampire, the thunk of his walking stick on the wood and the shfff shff of his feet sliding accross the ground. "Are you Yuna?" He asked in a squabbly voice with a smile, atleast the man had all his teeth.
The staff was tall and had a ring on top, made of wood as well, the loop was connected to the staff with a small peice of ivory which was engraved intricately, carved into the wood of the staff was a feirce dragon, eyes of inlaid red tiger's eye crystals and claws of onyx. His staff had a name actually, it was inscribed on the dragon's back that wound around it 'hitoshirezumi' but whatever the name meant was hidden to anyone who was unable to read the kanji script. The geezer must have been quite the fighter in his time, apparently. The old man looked at Yuna as if to try to figure out her strengths and weaknesses, his green eyes judgemental as the small copper rings that were attatched to the ends of his sleeves clinked together like bells. He wore a cord around his neck that seemed to be made of fine silk. The man's skin was crinkly and wrinkled, a gold ring lay on his index finger and it clicked against the staff lightly. The old man was thin limbed and it looked like he was defying some law of science by being able to support himself enough to walk with such a brittle body. "My name is Kenseirei Satonaro." Satonaro smiled towards his student as he awaited a response. Satonaro quickly fell asleep though and leaned on his staff, snoring quietly, his mouth open whilst he slumbered in the middle of the shipyard and a cool breeze through the mist disshevvelled his hair, almost making the old man seem crazed and senile.
(Yeah, his name has a meaning, no I won't tell you what it means, and yes- I spent hours contemplating what to name him! ^^)

Yuna's nose softly twitched as she looked onward to the fragile looking elderly man. "Why yes, I am Yuna..." Her voice trailed off as the man's breathing seemed deep and slow. "Uh...Mr.Satonaro?..." No response came from him. 'No way...is he...asleep...?' A mischievous instinct inside Yuna told her to poke the man's saggy skin, but Yuna shook this rude idea away, and instead knelt down to try to read the kanji on Satonaro's obviously well crafted staff. Having to use all her well being to keep from rubbing her hand on the seemingly smooth wood, Yuna instead squinted her eyes in concentration of the kanji, curiosity taking over. To many, Yuna may seem rude, but really, Yuna's usually semi-polite and kind, but when something catches Yuna's intrest, it's hard to get her back on topic...

Satonaro's eyes burst open when Yuna touched the staff and in a burst of speed that seemed nearly impossible for someone of his old age he whipped the staff into the air and firmly whacked Yuna in the head with it. "Don't touch that!" he said all of the sudden and he began walking through the mist silently, "I'll be your sensei at Twilight Moon Academy and I'll be helping you come into the full of your abilities." he nodded in Yuna's general direction before continuing, "Now do you have your own way of getting to The Academy or do I have to get us both there?" he asked as he shuffled along slowly, although telling from the force he beat Yuna with and the speed at which he initiated the attack... he should have been able to walk faster than his current speed. What the hell was wrong with this old man?

Yuna blinked once, confused, and in the next second her head flared with agony. 'What just happened?!' She tried to stand up, but almost fell down from dizziness. Yuna shook her head and gazed at her new sensei thoughtfully. 'He seems very strong, not at all weak...but why does he walk in such a slow pace?' "Uhm Satonaro-Sensei...S-sorry for, uh touching your staff, it just seems very well crafted...and about me having my own way of getting to the Academy, I have to admit that I don't..." Yuna took a step closer to her new teacher, her eyes gleaming, she already knew that she would want to learn as much as she could from him.

Satonaro looked back at Yuna and whacked her with the staff again, but gave no reason for hitting his student this time. He continued walking through the mist, feet shuffling on the ground quietly and stack thudding against the docks as he walked past several ships before coming to stop at a small one that didn't look like much compaired to the other larger ships, Satonaro withdrew several golden coins from within his sleeve and handed it to the man who owned the boat, "We would like to have a ferry to Twilight Moon Academy, please." he asked and the man nodded, he then motioned for Yuna to hurry up. He certainly had an odd way of going about things, and he certainly did with unfailing energy even though he looked exceedingly crumbly in appearance.

Yuna wrinkled up her nose as she put a hand on her head softly, flinching slightly. Yuna followed her sensei, and moved quickly when he told her to hurry, not wanting another whack to the head. 'Satonaro-Sensei...' She said in her head, trying out the new term she was going to be using. Yuna couldn't help but observe her teacher, trying to figure out what makes him tick...'A man as strong as he...yet seemingly so daint...it's almost unbelievable...' But Yuna did believe, the two new lumps on her head made sure she believed. Yuna took a long look at the small boat Satonaro-Sensei had paid for. "We're going to row to The Academy, Sensei?" Yuna mumbled this quietly, a small smile coming to her lips. The boat reminded her of the journey she had had with Chi-Oji-Sama...and thus the reason she had a smile pressed at her lips. She brought her onyx gaze to Satonaro's glistening green eyes...filled with so much spirit...'Satonaro-Sensei...'

Satonaro looked towards Yuna, "Well if you want to..." he shrugged as he looked towards the person he could have sworn he had just payed for the boat so that they wouldn't have to row themselves. He blinked for a few moments as if his brain stopped working all of the sudden and he looked towards the man he had handed the gold coins to, "Apparently Yuna would like to row so you won't need to." He nodded.
The man looked toward Yuna gratefully, glad that he finally got a break from his work.
Satonaro looked into the waters that lined the sides of the boat silently, several ghostly spirits skimmed the water and Satonaro just watched them drift by silently, the ghosts seemed almost mournful. The old man's hand tightened on the staff, his thumb seemed to separate two parts of it absentmindedly and steel glinted where the two halves separated. The old man clicked the two halves together with narrowed eyes momentarily as he looked towards Yuna, "You should start rowing- at this rate my old bones will have dried up before we got to Twilight Moon Academy." Satonaro said jokingly as he sat there, though his face showed that he really did expect Yuna to row the boat to The Academy. Yuna would be figuring out nigh soon enough that though Satonaro was one of the most laid back of the teachers, he was still one of the toughest- he had high standards for his students and would set before them tasks that seemed nearly impossible.

Yuna smiled at her sensei grandly and took a step into the boat, almost falling into the water. Regaining her balance, Yuna silently took a second to watch the thin mist rise from the water, or at least it seemed like mist to her, but she didn't really know what it was, but nonetheless, she was grateful she hadn't fallen in. Sitting across from Satonaro, Yuna got the oars in her hands and slowly dipped them in the water. "I'll row as fast as I can Satonaro-Sensei, we'll get there in no time!" Yuna stated with an over-confident grin. A big weakness that Yuna had, other than her ever-growing curiosity was her confidence, that at times often grew bigger than her own head, ending in devastating results; She just didn't know when to raise her hands in the air and say 'Oi, I give' Yuna started to row and the small boat began to lurch forward in a steady rhythm, and Yuna said goodbye to the man at the dock. The oar went in the water, Yuna turned it, and the boat lurched. Dip, Turn, Lurch. Dip, Turn, Lurch. *K-loosh**K-Loosh* (Eheheh, sorry, I don't know how the sound of an oar going through water goes^^' ;D) More and more the little boat advanced, towards the stranger school called Twilight Moon Academy.

"Well then, let's get right down to buisness... before we get to The Academy we'll need to make your schedule... how about that? You'll have the regular classes like Magic, Weaponry, Alchemy, Beastry, and your Master Class- I'll be teaching that one. Every student also gets a break period. Then come the fun part! Optional classes. For seventh period you choose either Music, History, or Potionry... choose wisely because you aren't likely to be switching classes halfway through the year." He warned in his old voice, "Next comes Holy, Flare, or summoning for eighth period, after that is ninth period which is either Dragoon, Theivery, or Saaammmuuuraaaii..." He drew out the last class with a sigh in his breath as if he were remembering something from his life, "Finally there's Survival or Puppetmaster for your last class." He tapped his staff on the bottom of the boat and he looked up towards the sky before mumbling something to himself, almost looking like he would randomly fall asleep again.

Yuna started to row slowly as she pondered about her optional classes..."Mmm...I'll take Music for 7th, summoning for 8th, and uh...." Yuna's nose gave a slight twitch as she thought. "Uh...." Finally Yuna's serious thoughtful expression gave way to a bright smile as she announced to her sensei. "I'll take Samurai for 9th period and Survival for my last class!" Satisfied on her choices, Yuna began to row faster again, and through the mist, Yuna could make out the figure of The Twilight Moon Academy. She looked back at her teacher, who looked lost in thought and Yuna's curiosity almost over-whelmed her. She furrowed her brow. 'I wonder what Satonaro-Sensei is thinking about...'

Satonaro nodded as he took a slip of paper out of his sleeve... which would incur the thought of how he always seemed to have something in there but it was impossible to see anything in his sleeve at any time but that was irrevelant to what was going on. He removed a pencil as well and he wrote down Yuna's class schedule on it with a smile and he handed it to Yuna, he yawned absentmindedly as he reached into his sleeve and withdrew a weapon. It was called a shinai. In all actuality it was some kind of katana made of bamboo, a metal hanguard above the tanned leather hilt, made to be almost like suede. The hanguard was plain and dull, the shinai actually looked quite old as well, the hilt was darkened with grime, the tip of the weapon was covered in the same worn down material, a yellow string ran down one side for some random reason, attatching the top fabric to the handle fabric. "This is for you." He said with a nod, "It's a shinai and you'll be using it for practice. You are not to use a sword untill you have mastered your training with this weapon, make sure to tell this to Raidon, the samurai teacher. He'll understand." he handed the shinai to Yuna, "I don't want to hear any complaining about it either, you'll learn it's strengths over time, as well as it's name." He smiled like the crazy old coot he was. ((Basically one of these... ))

(Did you draw that?) Yuna took the shinai and scrutinized it carefully. Rubbing her hand gently up and down the bamboo, and distractedly twiddled with the yellow string. Yuna gripped the handguard and with a serious expression looked back up to Satonaro."I don't plan to make any complaints, don't worry Satonaro-Sensei." Yuna grabbed her bag and stored the Shinai in it along, and even though the hilt stuck out, Yuna slung the bag on her back, and gave an innocent smirk. "Thanks sensei^-^" She murmured quietly. Yuna's eyes glanced over her schedule quickly, before she stuck it in bag too, having no pockets on her dress.

The boat bumped into the shore and Satonaro looked at the grassy banks and then up at The Academy, "Looks like we're there!" he exclaimed throwing his hands up in the air happily as hopped off the boat and landed nimbly on the shore, he looked rather silly while doing so. He prompty whacked Yuna on the head, "Go along then, there aren't any classes right now so feel free to do whatever." He nodded, strong grip on his precious whacking staff.

Yuna smiled pleasantly at her teacher, through the pain at her noggin and leaped out of the boat with a rather loud whoop. "So, I can just wonder the school now, huh?" Turning away without letting Satonaro answer, Yuna sighed happily from relief. 'I guess I'm finally here...' With a rather bliss bow and a grin, Yuna shifted her blue bag with her new shinai and uttered a 'later' to Satonaro. "Thanks and I guess I'll see you later, right?" Yuna again turned back to the school with a smile filled with joy, but deep in her mind she thought: 'Damn, my jaw is hurting from smiling so much, but I can't seem to stop! Just keep smiling Yuna...just keep smiling...' And with that and a hurriedly wave to Satonaro, Yuna walked off...still a rather pain-ful looking grin on her lips...
