Akira hopped down off the dock, hovering only inches above the water and as a ghastly hand reached up for her she simply moved as if to take a step up a flight of stairs and she moved up, a few more invisible steps and she was well out of the reach of anything in the water, "You coming?" she asked, she obviously saw nothing strange or worrisome in the walking on invisible stairs and walkways. She trusted the creator of the path very much so there was no fear that it might suddenly end abruptly- of course Mika didn't know the creator of the path that well and as far as he knew Akira was creating this as she went along, which someone could look at and figure was actually partially true in a way but that was irrelevant to the current situation, they just had to get going.

Mika simply shrugged upon witnessing his teacher walking on what appeared to be nothing. He had to assume she knew what she was doing, he doubted that she would walk on something without faith in it supporting her weight. After taking a breath, he slowly took a step, feeling the 'stair' beneath his left foot to make sure it was actually there before putting his full weight on hit. When he realized that the 'stairs' seemed fairly sturdy, he breathed a sigh of relief, and went behind Akira without bothering to look down. His silver orbs gazed into the starry night sky, the full moon in all of its lunar beauty reflected off the ghostly waters lighting the area as if it were a cloudy day.

Akira hopped along her way accross the water, a bit determined in her gait, going up some stairs and heading down some more, gliding her way up a ramp and then turning in one direction and doubling back, walking straight through what had been steps moments before, this walkway wasn't normal. "If you think the path is there, then it will be." she mentioned quickly to Mika, "Simple as that, so don't worry." She set one foot out and it plunged downward so that if there really was nothing under it she would surely plunge into the water with the spirits but her foot did land on something and she continued walking, correcting her direction and heading further out above the water. She was still obviously angry but she was putting a smile on now amidst her deep breathing techniques so things wouldn't be so hard for her student.

The concept of the bridge made sense to him, a structure that exists merely by the walkers faith in it existence... a bit complex but very intriguing. Apparently the headmaster didn't want very many people to cross over into the Academy. Nevertheless, Mika continued walking on the invisible structure, staying almost awkwardly close behind Akira, as he didn't know how narrow the bridge was having never been on it before. Step by step his leather shoes met the invisible bridge, making no sound as they walked. When he realized that Akira seemed to be coming into a sweeter mood, he decided to get that smoke that her rage had hastened earlier in their journey, he flicked the ashes to the water below.

The cigarette burned again at an increased rate, Akira wasn't any happier, she was just doing a better job at hiding her anger. Yippee. She continued walking and soon enough the shores of Twilight Moon Academy were in sight, it was odd how they seemed to cover miles in the matter of minutes but it must have been the magic of the place and the sooner they got to Twilight Moon the sooner Mika could have a smoke that didn't fizzle out too quickly to enjoy. Akira hopped onto the grass, the mist melting away quickly and the sun shone overhead like it was just a sunny day, "and a gift for my student?" she reached into her pocket and withdrew a ring with a green gem inlaid in it, "This will keep others from reading your mind while your here at Twilight Moon, trust me, it's more handy than you think." she smiled. It was customary for teachers to give their students a gift when they arrived at Twilight Moon Academy and so thats how things happened.

The cigarette once again quickly fizzled, apparently faster than last time as it burned his fingertips before he was able to toss it into the water. The thick fog seemed the most dense towards the end of the journey, right before it melted like snow on a warm day, the bright sun pieced through the clouds and actually bothered Mika's sensitive eyes. He looked around before stepping on the lush grass plain surrounding the school. He took a deep breath of the clean air, it was warm and comfortable. When she offered Mika a gift, he took it into his hand and tried it on, luckily, it was in a woman's size, he placed it on his left pinky finger, a perfect fit. He didn't care for the color green though... if he believed the stone was pink, then it would be pink. After examining the pretty accessory for a moment, he placed his right hand over his chest and bowed politely to thank her for his gift.
