The click clack of black wooden shoe soles on the hard cement pavement could be heard on the sidewalk, near the wooden docks of the Ghost Ship Yard, which were eerily empty and quiet. An uneasy peacefulness filled this place that would send chills up anyone’s spine. A slender silhouette was seen stepping foot on the creaky old docks, apparently waiting for something. The figure seemed a bit strange at first sight; it walked with the elegance of a woman but appeared to be dressed as a man, wearing a black suit that fit him snuggly. He moved a lock of silky dark hair from his sight, revealing that it was Mika Boshi, making his way to the Academy from his home in Japan, all that was with him was a small bag and a book. Mika stood like a delicate doll, motionless until reaching into his small purse like bag at his side, bringing a cigarette to his dark lips, bright white eyes appearing as two moons looking into the distant sea.
After nearly an hour of motionless waiting by Mika, the Ghost Ship methodically floated towards its aiming point, triggering Mika to tilt his head in the direction of the ship, taking one last inhale of his cigarette before flicking it into the water with long slender fingers. He took a deep breath and let out a sigh before bending over to grasp his bag and take it underneath his left arm, placing his right hand over his chest as he walked towards the boat. Before he would step onto the ship, he would take one last look at the mortal realm, knowing that there may be no turning back.

And waiting right there behind Mika as if she had just materialized there was a woman.
One eyebrow was raised in an expression of amused curiosity, "What the hell are you doing getting on a ship?" she asked, her voice crisp and flowing. There were many things to take in about the woman, her features were pleasantly feminine and her body was fairly well made, a slender waist, a round butt and breasts that seemed rather exaggeratedly large, the poor lady must have had some kind of back problems but if she did she didn't show any signs of discomfort. She smirked, her pink lips forming a crooked line and she shrugged, "Well, at least I stopped you before you were off to who knows where." There was a tad of relief.
She brushed a few strands of short, straight black hair out of her eyes, her bright blue green eyes looking off over the water, she was an alluring woman in the red and black dress she was wearing. She shrugged, "So anyways, shall we walk?" she asked, a smile on her face as she held a hand for her student to take so they would walk together like equals, there was nobody who was more important or more in charge right now. She was more like just a pleasant young woman instead of a teacher sent to escort Mika to Twilight Moon Academy.

Mika raised a brow as the silence was suddenly broken by the big bosomed, in a very mechanical fashion he turned to her general direction, his moon-like eyes, though looking at her, appeared to still be looking off into the distance. He did feel a bit of relief knowing that he surely wouldn't get on the wrong boat now. Apparently this lady in the pretty black and red dress would be his instructor for the time being. After wrapping a strand of ebony hair around his index finger he nodded to acknowledge her presence.
When the lady asked him if they should walk, he nodded twice slowly to show his approval. After a bit of thought and hesitation, Mika took the teachers hand into his own, hoping that she didn't have a wrathful demonic boyfriend who might take the scene the wrong way.

"Sooo.... Every student takes some mandatory classes." she said with a smile on her face, this new student seemed like an okay kid, kinda quiet but not any kind of annoying or rude. "Magic, Weaponry, Beastry, and Master Class are some that you'll be taking unless you decide to file for some special schedule change or the sort." She gave a slight shrug and looked along some of the small shops that were spaced here and there, a few restaurants. "Hey, you hungry after your trip?" she asked, "You want to get something to eat before we get going for the last stretch before Twilight Moon?" she asked, already starting to lead Mika over to wards a building that seemed to be a melding of a pub and an actual restaurant. "We can figure out the rest of your schedule while you fill your stomach, you're probably starving, poor thing." It was odd how she seemed to have taken to the idea of treating Mika like he was her own kid or something but it was better than some of the lots drawn for other students who were trying to fight some kind of superiority contest that was doomed to lose, not like anyone's saying any names or anything...

Mika felt a bit odd being dragged around, but he did not mind it, strutting just a few steps behind his teacher trying to keep up with her rapid pace, she was a bit energetic, wasn't she? To most of her questions and statements, he would quietly nod, up until they came to an abrupt stop, leaving Mika a bit puzzled, raising a brow. He didn't realize that he had accidentally agreed to a meal at this small pub- he didn't eat much. Shrugging it off he enters the the restaurant, sitting at a stool and crossing his legs quite elegantly. A waiter approaches him, asking him if he would like something to eat, to which he shook his head and pointed to the green tea on the menu. He did get the feeling that his new instructor was babying him, but he didn't mind... it reminded him of a childhood long since forgotten.

Akira smiled to the man who was asking them what they wanted, "Green tea for him and one for me as well but put some vodka in mine." She said graciously, "And to eat he'll have some warm soup and bread, I'll have..." she paused, thinking about it, "tuna fish in ice crea-" she paused midway through the unusual order and her eyes narrowed, she muttered under her teeth, "Makashi... you're dead..." she looked up at the waiter, her happy demeanor now gone and she muttered through gritted teeth, "I'll have a green tea without vodka and that's it." she obviously was not happy at all. In her mind she was trying to find ways to rationalize the need to consume icecream and tunafish but of course the last time she wanted to eat something as bizarre as that it wasn't a happy time at all. She rested her forehead on the table as the waiter left to get the tea, soup, and bread. "Choose one: music, history, or potionry..." she grumbled, obviously she had figured out some fairly bad news and anyone who knew anything about anything would know already. Akira was preggurz and she was unaware until this moment, it was kind of funny, she didn't look pregnant at all, she must have been really early in it or something. Her reaction was odd though, because most people weren't this depressed when they learn they're going to have a kid. This new development of course would put Mika in an awkward position but perhaps that was what was intended by Li-Wa, the ever gracious RPer.

Mika tried to stop the waiter from getting him the soup, as he would probably not drink it, but his efforts were to fail as he left ignoring the man who silently disagreed. The green tea arrived first, in a small glass cup on a plate. After Mika received his tea, he was quick to load it with seven packs of sugar, leaving a thick white residue at the bottom of his cup. He stirred it up with a straw in an attempt to diffuse some of the sugar into the tea, but most of it would remain at the bottom. With a sigh he brought the cup to his delicate lips, sipping silently. Mika raised a brow when the lady's expression and demeanor instantly went sour. When she angrily asked what subject he wished to take, he put up one finger to signal the first choice, music. He wasn't able to decipher what triggered this anger, so he would simply sit quietly... as he normally would.

Akira looked up at Mika, her expression one of utter despair, there was a little bit of nodding and she reached for her own tea and took a sip of it, she obviously didn't feel any need to sweeten it. She only seemed to care about what was bothering her so badly right now, "Alright, Holy, Flare, or Summoning... Holy is good magic, Flare is bad magic, and I'm pretty sure you know what summoning is." She spoke bitterly as she took another sip of her tea. It was odd how her temper seemed to go sour almost immediately, she was a funny person with her extreme facial expressions that made it so that whatever was on her mind was clearly displayed through how her face was showing her emotions. She would normally be drinking alcohol at a time like this but obviously she wasn't in a situation that permitted her to drink alcohol. It was rather unfortunate really, because Akira was a big fan of alcohol.

Mika glanced across the empty bar, seeing only one man in the corner of the room drinking a coffee, he attempted to avoid making contact with her wrathful eyes. The very animated woman did not seem to be in any mood for messing around, so he answered her question in a similar way, putting two fingers up to signify the second answer, as he wanted to learn this "Flare" magic. He tried to contemplate what might have put her in such a foul mood, but he either couldn't put it together, or just didn't care enough about the situation to come up with an idea.

"Dragoon, Samurai, or Thievery?" she asked, trying to keep herself to deep breathing but it was obvious by her furrowed eyebrows that she was still very much displeased. "Twenty eight years of hell and it's all his goddamn fault... he's going to hear about this..." she muttered irritably to herself, eyes narrowing every second she continued to mumble. She finished the last of her tea and Mika was brought his soup and bread. The soup was very much just flavored broth, not a heavy kind of meal food and the bread would likely be handy for soaking up some of the broth if you didn't feel like just drinking it plain.
Akira reached down her shirt into what would be assumed where a bra would likely be and she withdrew some money that she placed on the table to pay for the food so they could leave as soon as Mika was done eating.

Mika took his small bowl of soup from the waiter and took in the aroma coming from the broth-heavy dish. It didn't smell appealing to him, but he did try a sip before putting it down and signaling that he was full. He reached into his small bag again, taking out his box of cigarettes, offering his teacher one before he put a long and slender cigarette to his lips, lighting it and taking a deep breath. To her question he put up two fingers to signal the second answer, Samurai. He continued to avoid eye contact.

Akira declined and the cinders that burnt through the cigarette in Mika's mouth seemed to spread faster, burning through too fast for it to be unaided, "If you weren't hungry you should have said so..." she stood up, shaking her head, "Now choose your last classes, Puppetmaster or Survival." she ordered, pushing the chair back in when she stood, by the time Akira was walking towards the door the cigarette was almost burnt all the way to Mika's mouth. Akira had that kind of effect on burning things when she was in a bad mood and it was likely that Mika wasn't very appreciative of this.
The money was already on the table to pay for the food that mostly wasn't eaten, if anyone bothered to touch the money they would be able to note that it was very warm, probably thanks to being pressed up against Akira's breasts which might strike some as a rather nice thought but hopefully none of the present company because well... the RPer Li-Wa would find it awkward and unnerving to find that there was a student who was looking for becoming Perth-esque or something like that. Akira's bright blue green eyes looked through the fog, peircing the thick curtain of mist as it started to melt away, creating a clear path and the air seemed to warm up noticeably and it would have been rather comfortable if it weren't for the humidity that was already present and so it was like a literal sauna, but at least there was no fog to hinder thier vision.

As Mika inhaled the smoke from his cigarette, he realized that it was burning unnaturally fast... this must be his teacher's powers combined with her unnervingly bad mood. Before the fires reached his lips, he put it out on an ashtray on the creaky wooden bar. To her last question, he put up two fingers, signifying the second answer, Puppet-master. When she made the comment about him telling her that he wast hungry, his expressionless face nearly cracked a smile. He stood up as she did, the heat aura coming from her body made him feel uncomfortable as they walked through the fog.

Akira nodded when Mika held up the two fingers, "So..." she muttered, writing a few words on a peice of paper, it was Mika's schedule of course and she handed it to him, "We can get going to TMA." she headed off over the docks, she had a determined gait and she kept her gaze looking at the edge of the dock, looking for something. She smirked when she saw a line of white paint and she walked over to that spot, looking to the water underneath it. "We'll be walking to The Academy." she must have been dumb or something if she expected to walk across the water that was infested with dangerous spirits that probably wouldn't mind pulling a passerby under the waves and to their deaths... and as far as anyone was concerned walking over water was impossible.
(out of a mild curiosity, was the smile a good thing or a bad thing?)

Mika nodded slowly, agreeing that it was time for them to head on to their final destination. He is dragged by his teacher to the docks, looking down at the blackish water bellow, being close to it counteracted the heat emitted from Akria's body. It was a chill that only restless spirits could bring to the mortal realm... troubling at its best. Even still, Mika remained silent and expressionless, taking that last look at the mortal realm as he meant to earlier. When the words "We'll be walking," escaped her lips, Mika felt a cold sweat, looking at the ghosts bellow that tried to drag them to the ocean depths from where they stood. All he could do is wonder why she thought boats were overrated...
(He almost laughed, it's a good thing xD)
