Sabine laughed. Her aunt Pera was supposedly a fortune teller. Sabine didn't know if she was a seer or not, but she doubted. She looked at the vial and said, "I'm new. I hardly know anyone. Literally. Right now, you're the only person I've met besides my master teacher."

Durriken laughed again.
“Oh well, your make friends soon enough. Don’t worry about it, people are always really kind around here.” he said grinning as he made the vial disappear. “If you find anyone interested, tell me though would you.” he said giving the gypsy smile.

Sabine smiled back, and responded, "I'll be sure to." Sabine then crossed her arms but not in a stern way, more like a young girl holding books close to her chest. "So, where are you from? Area wise?"

“Well, we travels all over Europe, first with the whole clan, then with just my mother and I. I never really stopped anywhere long enough to call it home. From what I can remember we went all over, up north with the snowy winters to down south near the sea.”

Sabine nodded. She was European too. "My family was in Italy a lot. Poland and France not so much. We spent a lot of time in Italy. After my brother was old enough, I left him and went to England. So I've been all over Europe." Sabine looked at her dress, then back up, "and I defiantly show it."

((Durriken is from a whole different time set so this is kinda hard.))
“Yea, even though I’ve been all over Europe, I haven’t seen that much of it. We normally stuck to the old style of things, so we didn’t go into the new style towns or cities and instead stayed with the olden style towns.”

"That's cool. I never saw old stuff. Unless I was in a rural setting traveling." Sabine suddenly realized, he was just like her, but different. He was old style gypsy, and she was modern. Her eyes grew wide and then back to normal as she laughed, "Sorry, I just had a revelation."
OoC--- So, he is like oblivious to the modern world?

((Well...kinda. He knows about it, but he hasn’t been to any modern cities or anything. He is a gypsy version of the Amish))
“Hehe, I saw it in your eyes and mind. My clan has chose to stay with the old ways of things, and even when being thrown out my mother and I stuck with them. Its a nice simple living though, and great preparation for the school. It seems like it is stuck in the same time warp my clan was in.”
When he said he saw it in her mind, he was speaking the truth. He discovered that when he let his mind wander, he would pick up random thoughts from peoples mind. If he really focused on a mind though, he could easily peer into it unless they had mental protection.

"You got kicked out?" Sabine didn't think people could get kicked out, I mean, ofcourse the /could/ but it never happened. Her clan only had people who distanced themselves, incidentally. But no one was ever left, or booted. "I didn't think that was possible."

“It was very easy in my clan, since we followed the old ways. My mother broke one of the biggest laws, you were not to have affairs with an outsider. She fell in love with a young sorcerer and they had a child, me. She kept it secret as long as she could, but when she started to show they threw her out, telling her to live with her filth husband, who, couldn’t be found.” he said, reciting it off like it was nothing to him.
Durriken faced this demon in his past long ago. It was what made him able to use the cards. They tested him with his worst past frights and demons, but he got through them, so he was able to use their power.

"Whoah, that like sucks." Getting kicked out for falling in love? When Sabine dated the baker, no one cared. But it wasn't like her family was nuts about this sort of stuff, "So they gave her the boot just cause she got knocked up? Sorry, I didn't mean that. But, like, just because she fell in quazzy love with a modern mench?"

“I don’t really think it was the modern thing as more then the sorcerer part. Since plain people can just be taken in and taught the gypsy way. And my clan never really trusted magic users that much since most of them lost the magic themselves. That is how I think I reawakened mine truthfully, by having a magical boost from my father.”
“But truthfully, you have to look on the bright side. If we haven’t gotten kicked out I would have never eventually gotten these cards and came to Twilight Moon”

"Oh. It sounds like they were just being selfish. And true, there is a bright side to everything, but like, being abandoned by your culture..." Sabine felt bad, she sucked at this stuff, "Sorry, I must be bothering this inside of you. I'm sorry, I suck at stuff like this."

“No, No, its fine. I got over that a few years ago. My card are linked to me psychically...so they made sure I got over most of past demons. And Hey, remember what the great seers say. The past can be easily read over and over again from a book, it never changes. The future though, it much more tricky. If you can even open the book of the future, it is always shifting, so you have to read quick, before what you read becomes null and void.”

"Oh, I get it, so our future is always changing, by like each decision we make." Sabine didn't know about old gypsy sayings. She knew nothing about her past, and only so much about her future, "I don't get a lot of this gypsy stuff. I wasn't taught very well, well, I wasn't taught much at all."
