Akira stood atop a tree branch (That kitsune in the trees again... *sigh*) and looked down towards the forest floor with a sigh, she had no clue where she was going to find Suzume at this moment, and it didn't look promising she was going to find her soon. All she could do right now was hope she finds Suzume before the portal to Gate Suppression 9 was opened up. She shook her head and her black fox ears relaxed as they lowered slightly, her nine black fox tails hung limply behind her as she jumped silently to a lower branch.

Duemi, who had lately developed a tendency of wondering around randomly, had also come here. She walked, her steps falling on the dry leafs underfoot, her body moving in a jerky, robotic manner. She was going on aimlessly not quite sure where she was anymore. Her mind was gong back over the events of her 'date' which clearly didn't work out very well. She happened to look up and saw the kitsune in the tree. Her expression immeaditly changed, her blank look replaced by pure anger. Up in the tree was Akira, but Duemi, who was current ally VERY pissed at Suzume, thought it was Suzume, not Akira up in the tree. In fact, Duemi had never even HEARD of Akira. But as said, she thought that it was SUzume up there and was now hell bent on causing MUCh physical harm to her. She hulled herself into a tree, reaching the level that Akira was at. She ripped Zephyrspirit fro it sheath and charged the metal blade with electricity. She charged at Akira, her footing awkward due to the fact she was trying to run up in a tree.

Akira raised her eyebrows, she stood there and placed her hand on the edge of Zephyrspirit and the blade dropped from Duemi's hand as if Duemi was just a ghost she went straight through Akira, "Ole..." she muttered boredly before looking around, "Okay, you armed your illusion with a real weapon... unusual- yes, but where are you?" she asked as she looked around to find whoever it was that was casting this bothersome illusion to attack her. Her black fox tails swished back and forth, and she looked back to the illusion that had just attacked her.

Duemi, caught off guard by FALLING THROUGH Akira. Zephryspirit was torn from her grasp and she almost fell out of the tree. She turned back with a shocked expression. Hey, give her a break, she just passed through someone. She shook her head to clear her thoughts. Get it together. She scolded herself. Again, she put on an expression of anger, and determination.
"I'm not an illusion." Duemi half mumbled, half growled. She sent a wave of electricity to Akira, hoping that it could do more damage than her first attempt. An explanation, on Duemi's date, Suzume showed up and said that Duemi was not real, but in fact an illusion. She didn't take this very well, clearly.

Akira cocked an eyebrow, "Heheh, very funny Suzume- where are you?" Akira called out, the electricity had no effect on Akira- in fact it kinda just zapped the tree instead. She tapped her foot, it was useless going through all this trouble and she just looked toward Duemi and stopped, "You DO know you aren't real... right?" she asked as she touched her forefinger to her chin and her ears pricked up, if it was true that this stranger didn't know she was an illusion than she might just feel bad. It was a well crafted illusion though- almost looking real, and to anyone who didn't cast illusions themselves well, they pretty much were.

Duemi's scowled deepened. Why was 'Suzume' (AKA Akira) talking to herself? Duemi decided that she must be trying to confuse her. Seeing that her electricity also had no effect, she decided on a new weapon, pine cones. She threw a branch worth of them at her, a rock mysteriously getting caught up with them. Duemi wouldn't give up, not only because she pretty much wanted to kill her, but she now also had her dagger. If had only been hers it wouldn't be so important, but it had belonged to her father and it was easily the most important thing she owned. If she didn't get to kill 'Suzume' she would at least get Zephyrspirit back.

Akira stood there with a blatant expression on her face as the pinecones bounced off of her, though as the rock came at her, her hand shot up in a blur of motion and grasped the rock firmly. She heald it there for a few moments before she let it drop to the ground, "Okay, Suzume isn't here so is there some other reason why you're attacking me?" she asked with a bored voice.

Duemi's voice of reason was screaming at her that this person was CLEARLY WAS NOT Suzume. But she refused to except this obvious fact and devised a new plan, one MUCH better than throwing pine cones. Duemi knew that she couldn't just go up and hurt her, if she did she would just fall through her. So she formulated a plan so she would not fall through. She put some sticks into her sleeves and pants legs. With sticks in place, she would not go through her now. How you ask? Sticks cannot pass through Akira or Duemi, so with sticks on her limbs, she in turn would not go through her. She picked up a thicker branch and charged at her leaping on to Akira's back with the intent on strangling her.

Akira had a somewhat bored expression as Duemi fell straight through her and the stick landed on her foot, "Good job, you got my foot." she said boredly as she rolled her eyes, she stepped through Duemi, "Are you done yet? I'm obviously not fighting you... moreso standing here." She yawned slightly as she sat down on the ground, "Besides I have places I need to go." she added, looking towards the rather frazzled Duemi.

Duemi felt even more irritated. So far all her plans really SUCKED. It was actually felt very depressing, but Duemi was a rather determined individual. She took her stick and began to beat Akira with it. She was so furious and refused to give up, though it was all to clear that she couldn't do anything. She wouldn't just give up, she would wait until she physically unable to do anything before she would stop trying.

"Calm down! Calm down!" Akira laughed as she was beaten with the stick and a pair of weights appeared around Duemi's wrists, each weighing very much though thier real weight was unnapparent. The pulled at Duemi, forcing her downwards to the ground next to Akira, "Now tell me then, Why are you so intent on presuming your attacks?" she asked, her eyes shimmered over with wisdom, and years far greater than Suzume exhibited- yeah, uh- DUUUH! this was definately NOT Suzume, Akira's large fox ears were faced towards Duemi with the sort of patient interest that was rarely seen in this day and age.

Duemi glared at the person she had come to think was Suzume. The weights on her wrists had forced her to ground and despite her best efforts, she could not stand. Reason seeped into her mind and for once she acknowledged the fact that this really might NOT be Suzume.
"Answer this first who are you? You're clearly not who I had originally thought you where." Duemi asked, her voice not angry, but rather cautioned. She had to many unappreciated strangers recently, she was unwilling to let herself be caught off guard. Though, at the current moment, she was in no position to do much.

"Akira, my name is Akira... tell me then Duemi, do you by chance have an idea on the location of Suzume?" she asked, her ears pricked skyward with renewed intrest and far from patient like previously. Her nine black fox tails swayed back and forth in a pleased fashion which looked quite comical to be wholly honest and she wore a simple smile on her face, a pleased one actually since she was actually getting somewhere with this whole endeavor into this odd forest. Actually, it was one of the more productive things she'd done in a long while!

"Well, clearly I DON'T." Duemi said in an over irritated tone "Now would you be kind enough to give my dagger back and get these things off my wrists?" Duemi opened her hand on the ground, as the weights were still holding her to the ground. She wondered what could possibly make them so heavy. She was still sour about what had happened moments ago not to mention all the other crap that had gone on today.

"Promise you won't have another feeble attempt to actually injure me?" she asked with a slight laugh as she reached for Zephyrspirit, her motion stopped as her hand met the hilt of the weapon, "And where did you happen to come upon this?" She asked, her ears laid back against her head, though whether she was simply wary, or offensive was yet to be seen. She had known the origional weilder of the dagger and wanted to know how Duemi got a hold of it.
