"What ye mean, 'Primitive?' Ye didn't think I 'ad maself a 'omeland?" He asked, a slight laugh in his throat, though hiding a slight anger at being made what would be considered a mockery in most circles. Terent's gaze followed the people in the street before he looked back at the guard, "Urry up, please. We wouldn't want somethin' to 'appen, now would we?" he asked, his purple eyes showed slight worry, like a monarch from any foreign land visiting a strange place on a diplomatic mission. Things would be uncertain, but he had dealt with things like this before, well, kind of. He blinked, reassurance found itself there and he walked, a purpose in his step."Primative isn't quite the... diplomatic term tah use, it stirs up people more than ye'd want, most likely. Ye need tah be watchin' yer words if ye want this tah go smoothly." Terent took the situation's one chance to be made somewhat optimistic. Making it a learning experience.

"its hard to explain, has Virisea ever been an Imperialist state for a long period of time? If it had been you would probably understand without explination...if its not...then i don't think i could get it across to you. We've driven to extinction hundreds of sentient life forms due to our imperialism...its been a poison for other races Since the Second Resumption..." "as you wish" Loki said, speeding up and keeping with Terent. for a short guy, he really could run fast. Loki guessed he wasn't joking when said he was soldier....

"Which way are we gon' be 'eaded now?" Terent asked, looking around, not sure as his gaze followed traffic down one way, then the other at the intersection. He looked towards Loki, "Oh, an' what might ye want ta be called?" he asked, a name would be nice for introductions and conversation. His elven ears twitched slightly as they normally do, flisking up and down with each fluxuation in thought or mood. One might question why his left ear was severely torn on it's tip but who knew, maybe it'd bring back bad memories or something. Nevertheless, it was best to leave Terent's chewed up ear alone.

Loki looked down the street, the air was filled with the din of mechanical engines. The sound was an anachronism, as all vehicles ran on extremely silent and efficient eclectic motors, but the warm purring sound of ancient internal combustion engines was still played. and No one exactly knew why. "Right here." he said, pointing down, across the Intersection to a large, free standing white pillar. On the Pillar he could make out a cream colored X on a Green Circe, the symbol for the Mass Transit system.
Loki nodded, "Eth, my middle name would probably suffice for introductions. you can come up with a surname as you see fit...by the way, what is your name? we've been walking around Capital City for a while now and I don't know what your name is."
Loki observed the ear, but kept silent, he had a feeling that, who ever he was, had acquired such a wound in battle, and in judging him,he had a feeling that war was something he had left behind long ago If only the human race could do that he thought and shook his head, but we are perpetually prone to chaos and murder. Loki bowed his head forward for a moment, then, as he raised it back to normal, he drew a line with his hand down from his forehead to his chin.

"Terent... Flyn? Agh, I barely remember my own last name after all the years..." Terent looked up, skywards- if there was a god out there, Terent kinda wished he'd tell him why everything seemed to be going so badly for everyone. He'd asked someone once and they'd just told him that it was more interesting than a happy world... but there had to be more, right?
He looked back to the world around him, snapping back into the situation and he began walking towards the pillar, hoping he wouldn't get lost... it was hard to navigate a strange city when you were four foot, ten inches tall.

"my Lord" Loki said, getting into the act, "Would you like me to escort you? i believe i memorized the map of the city quite well, we should not want to be late in arriving for your audience with the Emperor now will we?" Loki looked around, people were looking at the three strangely, as if they were some how alien, it worked perfectly! Loki felt his sword and looked down for a second. it was still there, even with the illusion disguise, and he wondered if he could kill the emperor with it....

"I have not the slightest clue where anything in this bloody damn city be! 'Ave these people any sense of organization?" Terent exclaimed, looking around, "Take me to tha emperor, yes indeed." Terent held a stern expression on his face as if he had quite the deal to tell this emperor when he got there, his ears pressed back against the sides of his head and his aqua ponytail trailed behind him as he walked, it was all an act, but if anyone was watching, it'd look like he was some ruler who had been disgraced in some way and wished to talk it over with the emperor. Not someone to get in the way of- but someone you'd tell many people about. Perfect.

"Yes My Lord." Loki said and took the lead toward the Pillar. We do have a sense of organization Loki thought, remembering the north-south layout of streets and the east-west layout of drives. the whole city was laid out in a grid, a feat seen often on artificial islands. The city was built to be a Capital and was very well organized to anyone who bothered to pay attention to it. Loki wondered what Terent would say when he saw the Ministry of War on the way to the Palace. The rail lines almost to a one went past the largest building on the main island, after the Weather Control Spire. and the Grandest structure after the palace on the Planet. The whole point was to make it clear to everyone the military power of the Imperium.

((Chris, you can be in more than one RP at the same time, I hope you know. I'd suggest it so you can get to know some other characters on the site.))
"They rather like thier big structures, don't they?" Terent asked, looking around as they went on thier way, and it really wasn't fair to make little mental comments about Terent's noticing of the city's layout considering the fact he had problems seeing the street signs, due to his height. He really had no clue where they were over half the time, Loki's guidance through the city was a saving grace. His purple eyes looked about as they continued on thier way, boredly he seemed to walk, despite the strange new place. In reality he was quite amazed at a few of the structures but he couldn't break composure like that. So he tried to act all buisness, of course. Short elf man coming through! Make way. ^^

((really? I read a rule somewhere or other that said one RP per Character))
Loki couldn't help but float such an idea in his head, but it was far better to have the idea float in his head, than to voice the comment aloud and offend his most gracious friend. Loki nodded at Terent's Comment, "It is the Megalomania of our Race as of now, we have forgotten the lessons of Hyperia." Loki Ignored the looks of the people around him, he defiantly looked odd in his dress, maybe they thought him derange, in which case, they would be spared any violence, and that was without factoring in the tall guy in similar garb. "When we get there, bored the Red line, it will take us to Avenue, from there, we will walk." they were now less than 100 meters away, it wouldn't be long now.

Terent looked at the different systems, Red line... Red line... his purple eyes running over the signs, "Ah, there it is." He nodded, "We should be hurrying, then." He nodded to Loki, "You lead tha way, please- I can't see a single thing 'ere." Of course he couldn't see much of anything, he was far too short. Really far too short... really really far too short. He was four foot ten inches tall for God's sake. Someone had a deranged sense of humor or something.

Loki watched Terent in his wake as he proceeded forward. Tall, even by Imperial Standards, Loki was able to make people part, much as the blood sea of myth had eons ago. he smiled and made his way on to the Red Line. The Red Line train took a rather aimless course though the city, designed more for tourist than commuters, but at this time of the year, it was typically less crowded, perfect for keeping each other in sight. Upon reaching the car, he stood in the access way, "Right here." he said quietly, ushering Terent inside, Loki was determined not to lose him in the maze of this city.

Terent nodded a thanks to Loki, looking around the relatively empty car, compaired to the others he saw. People being crammed into the small spaces. Here it was kind of nice, you could hear the sound of the other passengers talking to each other, "So 'ow long till we reach our destination?" he asked, authority in his voice. His elven ears lowered slightly, thier ends pointing to his shoulders. He was rather relaxed, in case you wondered what it meant. His purple eyes scanned over the car as he shifted his weight his jacket swayed slightly at his feet. The guard Terent had created looked from person to person scrutinizingly, making sure nobody here was a threat, he looked quite dangerous, actually. Really dangerous.

Loki mused silently at the paranoia of the guard. He shrugged, such behavior could be programed in to a tri-holo program or a Ghost, but neither was in play here. No, it was simply the vagary refereed to as Magic. Magic of all things, it was just something that was used from time to time to explain to children when it was clear that they would fail to comprehend the logical expiation. "Twenty minutes" Loki said, "its only about thirty kilometers away, but this system zig-zags across the main island before reaching Avenue" there was a soft chime and the car launched itself down the tracks, moving at almost 250 km/h. There was no momentum, the movement virtually unnoticeable, except for the blur of buildings and trees. Loki didn't think much of it, but then he remember that Terent hadn't been on one of these before, he smiled, wondering what he would do when he realized the rate at which they where moving

Terent kept on the surroundings as they moved along, sure- he hadn't been in one of these things before, but he'd ridden atop a dragon before, which was speedy as well- and exceedingly high up. Besides, if he lost his cool at such a thing that was so everyday here, it would most likely be no better than detramental to what they were trying to get done. So he kept silent as he awaited when they'd finally get where they were going.
