((Okay, the italicized part is my girlfriend's post on another forum reflecting on what happened. It's easiest to post that, then tell a shorter rendition from my point of view. The names have been changed to names you'll know.))
So yeah, there it is. The first night. The scariest moments of my life. I thought the car was about to explode, which it did, later. If she had put on the brake a second later, they could have gone off the bridge, and they would have been killed. That's the second most terrifying thought that has ever gone through my head, and the first also had to do with her dying. But after all this, things started getting better. Nobody's really hurt, just bruised and aching, and we all had a good time the rest of the trip. It was impossibly hard to leave, but yeah.

[Damon] is amazing, sweet, handsome, great hugger and kisser.
His mom is amazing.
I gave them their Christmas pressies, they gave me mine.
We ate at a restaurant...and then we were leaving.
It was amazing....
But..I just got back from the hospital.
It wasn't five minutes later...we had left before them (me, mom, and my sister)
We turned towards our house and the light was green, it has just turned..and there was this car waiting in the turn lane ahead.
We thought he was going to stay stopped, but he turned.
He told the police, "I saw her coming, but I thought I could beat her, it was my fault."
He took full responsibility.
But..
He tuned right before we got there, I saw him and mom was all, "[Damon's Girlfriend]..oh God."
I was like, "Mom, I se-"
I had put on brakes but we t-boned him.
We went spinning on the bridge and my airbag exploded, my mom's didn't.
[Damon's Girlfriend's Sister] started screaming from the backseat like bloody murder she was hurt.
We came to a stop RIGHT before the concrete siding.
I was crying and said, "Mom..hellllp...my head."
Because i had hit my head o nthesteering wheel, we were only going 40 mph, but it was fast enough to do damage.
I looked over at the other car, the passenger's side doors were smashed and glass shattered, their airbags were blown on the side.
Ironically it was the same make, year, and model as our car..but a differenent color.
By this time [Damon] and his mom pull up and [Damon] jumps out of the still moving car, the cop is already there..it all happened too quick.
I started screaming, "MOM THE WOMAN! THE WOMAN IN THE OTHER CAR. LET HER BE OK, GOD."
I said it over and over, the man from the other car said she was ok and called the hospital, but the policeman was already on it.
my mom's airbag didn't explode but she wasn't really hurt.
Only bruised.
[Damon's Girlfriend's Sister] was crying and they were trying to get my door open so I could breathe.
The fumes from the airbag were suffocating me and i couldn't move.
They were all, "Get them out of the car before it explodes!"
I was crying and wailing, "IT'S MY FAULT DAD WILL KILL ME. OH GOD. I WASN'T WATCHING."
[Damon] pulled me from the car and his mom kissed me, then she went to help my mom and the officer with my sister.
I turned around and hit my knees, "OH MY GOD HE'S GOING TO KILL ME, PLEASE...NO NO NO NO NO NO."
I was beating the ground, fluid was leaking everywhere and our engine was spread across the road.
[Damon] was all, "[Damon's Girlfriend], it isn't yuor fault...shhh...it's isn't your fault, he won't be mad. it wasn't your fault."
He finally pulled me to his car and calmed me down a bit but I was still wailing, my sister was being loaded in the ambulance.
I could still hear her crying, it was hell.
The guy who we hit told the officer it was all his fault he wanted to see if he could beat me.
Our car was totaled.
A paramedic and fireman was examining me while they were taking car of the wreck, and one of the ambulance men was all, 'You need to go to the doctor."
And [Damon] was holding me and I was holding him, "Can you come with me?"
He said yes and we got in the ambulance with my sister.
I said "I am so sorry" to everyone i saw tonight...everyone.
They said it wasn't my fault.
We went to the hospital and the doctor said we /may/ have internal bleeding after all the tests he ran, but we won't know for three days.
If we get sick we need to go back though.
So in five hours I have to go to the tow truck company, take pictures of the car, send them to the insurance company, go by the police station, go by the car dealership place, go by the justice center, fill out MORE paperwork. And try to live.
I have a seat belt burn, bruises, concussion, and air bag burn.
My sister has bruises and a hurt side.
Then i will spend the rest of the day with [Damon], but omg.

This was the worst/best night ever and i won't forget it.
EVER.
I can't believe anything like this happened.
Stressed, depressed, and hurting.
So I dunno.
I just need a hug.
I'll make sure to get lots from [Damon] tomorrow.
But I knew something would happen.
My Dad is mad, but not mad at me, he just said he is glad it wasn't [Damon] and his mom.
All of us are...
They stayed up at the hospital with us until 1 am this morning.
It is now 3 am.
We can't go ice skating, doctor said.
I'd strain me and my sister too much.
So we sorta have to wing it.
Life is fucked up.
You have things planned out, and they can be snatched away in the blink of an eye.
EDIT;; To give an example of how bad the wreck was, engine was all over the road, and what wasn't..was pinning my legs to the car. The car was almost turned inside out. But we had guardian angels tonight.
